Brazil Car Production at 8-Month High

Car production in Brazil grew by 13.5% from the previous month to 222 thousand units in April 2024, the most in eight months, following a 3.2% rise in March. "This is a reflection of domestic sales.

The daily average of registrations is extremely relevant.

We are working above 10 thousand units per day, much more expressive than what we had in previous months and also in 2023," said Márcio de Lima Leite, president of Anfavea.

On a yearly basis, auto production surged by 24.2%.
