Airdrops statistics. When will Tier-1 projects be released?
Above you can see a picture that clearly shows - when there were drops of large projects. Below is the breakdown.
Let's consider the most notorious airdrops:
1. Arbitrum - March 16 announcement, March 23 drop. Bitcoin jumped from 19k to 27k the week before. It seems to be only 8k, but it's almost 50% growth.
2. Aptos - bitcoin went from 19k to 21.5k.
3. Optimism - April 26 - community announcement. Before that bitcoin candles 37k - 43k for the day. Many people thought we were diving into a bear market, but from 34k we get to 47k, the crowd thinks we're going to over high and what do we see? The drop itself was in May.
4. Mask Network - Not the most popular drop, but they gave away $750 each. The drop was February 27, 21, at the peak of the Bullrun, when shitcoins are pumping, nfts are pumping. Back then projects just didn't realize what airdrops were and how brilliant it was.
5. 1inch - gave 1600 dollars per criteria quote: "there was at least one transaction before September 15 or a minimum of $20 was transferred." AirDrop came out on December 25, 2020, what was bitcoin then? Growing from 20k to 40k in a month.
6. UniSwap - made the biggest hype and brought the market back to the carnival of 2017, listing their token by everyone who wants it. They came out on September 22, 2020, what was up with the bitcoin? We were standing at 8k and the token was only worth 3-4 dollars a token. The drop came out at an average of 400 UNI or 1200 dollars. Interestingly, in early 21, that is wait relatively short time and the token value was already 41 bucks or $12,000 per token.
Interesting questions to ask everyone after research:
Does the drop happen either on the peak before the drop or on the flight up? What could it be right now? If we are flying up and not on a peak - then maybe we should not sell at least some of the tokens?
I advise everyone reading this question to answer it when the drop comes.
