- love the company, really hard to buy the stock here. high 30s PE, >10x sales, 2% fcf yield. and that gets you 10% pa top line growth? the stock is a clear outperfomer v. the broader market since forever, so it's hard to fade/ short the name. shorting has been miserable in this tape anyway. add to the fact that in-line and outright weak results v. consensus have been met with more dip buyers in the last few q's. so again, it's fighting the trend to fade this. but i'd not be buying it and part of what informs this is not only the valuation but a miss and a lower stock price would need to see a substantial price discount to even pique my interest. i feel like i've been cautioning a lot more in this tape than finding good long punts... which sucks. but i just call them like i see them.
