Equity: Categories, Focuses, and Niches

The fund contains only equity securities. Equity is an ownership share in a business, with rights to participate in profit distribution and trade on a public exchange.

Equity ETFs are classified into three main Categories: Sector, where funds are based on specific industry segments; Size and Style, focusing on company sizes and investment approaches; and High Dividend Yield, targeting funds with dividend returns.

Category Sector:

In the Sector category, classification follows the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS).

Each higher-level category strictly determines its specific subcategories, ensuring a precise classification for each ETF.

These funds either replicate a large segment of the stock market or use it as a basis for stock selection, focusing on factors like company size or market capitalization.

Focus: This describes the size range of the companies within the fund, from total market to micro-cap. The fund's declared size in its prospectus or other materials is the primary reference.

Niche: This term describes a fund's style, which can be value, growth, or broad-based. If no style is specified, it's generally labeled as broad-based.
