HEAT MAP INTRO

!ROAR

Intro to heatmaps.

Site used: Tensor Charts
Key Points:
  • Lighter shade blues represent smaller orders while reds and yellows represent higher volume orders with yellow being the highest.

When the blue/red/yellow bars are below price, these represent buy orders, when they are above, this represents sell orders.

Sell Wall - Yellow/red Streak above price.
Buy Wall - Yellow/red Streak below price.

All exchanges have different volumes, a sell wall on one exchange may not have enough sellers to depreciate price vs an exchange like Binance with high volume buy orders.

While heatmaps may indicate likely scenarios, HEATMAPS DO NOT TELL YOU WHEN TO BUY OR SELL, They simply provide you with information.

Just because there is a high volume of orders at a certain price, this doesnt mean price will rise to or fall to that level.

FRONT RUNNING - Recognizing a strong buy/sell wall and placing your orders before so you can be filled.
