DAX Tests Critical Support after Hotter German InflationConsumer price pressures in Germany accelerated in April to 2.4% y/y, which marked the first uptick since December. Eurozone inflation meanwhile persisted at the same level (May preliminary due on Friday), while wages in the region increased in the first quarter. This has created some worries around the disinflation process and the central bank’s prospects for less restrictive stance.
GER30 extends its slide from the recent all-time peak into the third week as a result and now tests a crucial support area. It breaches the EMA200 (H4) threatening the 38.2% Fibonacci of its last leg up. This would pause the bullish momentum and create risk for deeper pullback towards the daily Ichimoku Cloud, but we are cautious around sustained weakness.
Recent European inflation data may have showed some persistence and European officials may have warned against back-to-back rate cuts, but the ECB is expected to become the first major central bank to pivot and slash rates next week. This shift towards looser monetary setting, along with Germany’s exit for recession, are supportive for the stock market. Furthermore, the RSI is oversold and if GER30 manages to hold the pivotal EMA200 and 38.2% Fibo, its bullish bias would be reaffirmed and could lead to new record highs.

Nice Correction On Dax; More Upside Ahead? Stocks remain in risk-on mode after Nvidia's beats earnings expecations, so it’s not surprising to see DAX also turning up. Index has stabilized at the first support area between 18,620 and 18,560 from where we can see the price attempting to break out of what can also be referred to as a bullish flag, therefore, the market will at some point resume higher into a 5th wave.
However, fourth-wave corrections can sometimes be tricky and complex, and it's not always easy to define the end of a wave four unless you wait a bit further for confirmation of a bullish reversal. In our example, if the DAX comes back to this week’s lows, the next significant, but also very strong, support can be found at the 38.2% Fibonacci level around 18,500.
In either case, we believe the DAX will remain in an uptrend, but don’t be alarmed by a potential top if we see deeper price action. The most important invalidation level for a trend change is at 18,237. The upward projection for wave 5 should be around 19,000.
DAX H4 | Potential bullish reversalThe DAX (GER30) is falling towards an overlap support and could potentially bounce off this level to climb higher.
Buy entry is at 18,671.33 which is an overlap support that aligns with the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement level.
Stop loss is at 18,450.00 which is a level that lies underneath an overlap support and the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement level.
Take profit is at 18,923.54 which is a pullback resistance level at the all-time high.

DAX Another perfect sell opportunity emerges like the last one.DAX (FDAX1!) gave as an excellent sell opportunity last month (April 11, see chart below) that hit the 17700 Target and shortly after rebounded:
The index yet again flashes a sell signal as the price got rejected yesterday exactly at the top (Higher Highs trend-line) of the 1.5 year Channel Up. In symmetrical terms, this is similar to the Higher High rejection of May 19 2023, which pulled back to the 1D MA50 (blue trend-line).
The 1D MACD is also inside a similar Falling Wedge pattern and will confirm the sell signal once it makes a Bearish Cross. Our Target now is 18350.

Continuation of bullish scenario for the fifth waveEsteemed analysts and traders,
I hope this correspondence finds you in good health and high spirits, prepared to tackle the upcoming week with renewed energy. I extend my best wishes for your continued success in all your business endeavors. It is worth noting that success in trading is largely dependent on the consistent definition and adherence to one's own rules.
As a supporter of the Elliott Wave Principle, I consider this methodology an invaluable tool for market analysis. After three years of personal experience, I have developed my approach by combining this principle with meticulous consideration of different market scenarios. I strive to avoid market surprises by maintaining a range of market prospects, which enables me to recognize the market structure forming with 100% accuracy.
I am pleased to share my analysis with you, with the caveat that I do not provide buy or sell signals. My perspective on idea analysis is entirely impartial, and if my analysis meets your standards, it may serve as a guide to making an informed decision.
For your reference and comparison, I have attached my previous analysis of the same market. All the details of my analysis are clearly labeled for ease of comprehension. Nonetheless, familiarity with the Elliott Wave Principle theory would facilitate an understanding of the analytical idea.
My study of the Elliott Wave Principle took nearly three years, during which my understanding and experience with this invaluable tool have grown. My progress thus far is a testament to the legacy of Ralph Nelson Eliot, whose genius has provided the foundation for my achievements. May he rest in peace.
I express my gratitude for your continued support and kindness, and welcome your comments and critiques.
May my analysis be a valuable asset to your business journey, and I remain sincerely yours,
Mr. Nobody

30 YEARS OF DAXHello there,
let´s keep this short!
I observed higher lows, while the Relative strength of the market shows Higher Low´s as well!
This is actually a good sign and looking through my binocular, the coming decade looks pretty bright to me!
We have a huge dip of 35%, triggered by the corona virus covid-19.
The financial crisis is here and it harms economy, global logistic und production foundation. Therefore producers won´t sell their stuff, people won´t buy and the goverments will earn less taxes, which results in public turmoil! We will manage this as societies, but hard times in the short term (coming months and years).
Anyway, technically this recovery mode is neccesarry, since we note a huge Bullmarket since the 2008/09 crash! Higher Lows while RSI shows higher Lows as well, which is-technically seen- a bullish sign!

DAX building a short-term momentumThe DAX hourly RSI is above 50 and its stochastic is in its upper quartile. These suggests a short-term positive momentum. Core PCE out later is likely to influence risk sentiment. In that regard keep an eye on the hourly stochastic - if it starts to slip, the short-term momentum will be waning. If it holds, the sentiment will be biased towards risk-on.
