Overall
In order to make well-informed trading decisions, it is essential to keep a close watch on technical indicators and chart patterns and stay current with market conditions. This analysis shows that the market is currently displaying a strong upward trend with a bullish momentum. However, an overbought CCI value may indicate a potential reversal in the future. To stay ahead of the market, it is important to keep a lookout for signs of reversal, such as chart patterns. Traders should make their decisions based on their risk appetite and investment horizon.

Weekly Outlook on Gold 04.04-08.04I am long this week on Gold, because I see a couple confirmations.
Elliot wave analysis: The correction that we have at the moment retraced to 61.8% Fibonacci level of the previous Impuls move, which is enough. Normally the correction should close the gap and test the previous consolidation, which in this case is the big triangle, but it not necessary. If the price can not close this gap, means that the trend is very strong and the price will return later to close it.
Chart patterns: Right now the price is forming a sideways move, which have 2 patterns inside - Head and Shoulders and Double bottom. Normally if there is 2 reversal patterns are inside of consolidation in the middle of the trend, this is a continuation pattern. The market rejected very strong the the 1890-1895 levels.
Candlestick analysis: If you watch the whole consolidation at daily Timeframe, you can see that there are more bullish candles than bearish. You are able to see that there are more consecutive bullish candles than bearish. This means that the structure have bullish momentum.
Volume analysis: If you observe the volume, you see that there is no volume to the downside.
Market: The slope of the whole down move from 2070 is not comparable with the slope of the previous up move. The slope and lack of volume make me thing, that the this is only a correction, before big move up. Monthly structure is bullish and monthly candle is the second bullish candle, although the big wick.
Indicators: Bullish move is supported from 50 EMA, 200 EMA, RSI and Ichimoku cloud.
Fundamentals support the bullish continuation too.
Of course there is a possibility to drop to the 1850, testing the triangle, before the big bullish move.
BTCUSDT Anatomy read the description Hi,,,
Today I will show you the anatomy of BTCUSDT using Dow theory chart patterns with RSI & Gann method and at the last I will put my opinion ,
First using Dow theory BTC trends are:
1- Primary bull trend
2- Secondary bearish trend
3- Minor bull trend
if we want to be in a secondary bull market we should close above 46K or we will stay at secondary bearish trend.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Second using chart patterns:
1- BTCUSDT breaks the Primary descending channel small divergence (semi-positive).
2- BTCUSDT is inside the ascending triangle there is small divergence (semi-positive).
3- BTCUSDT is now inside small ascending channel and there no divergence (positive).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Third using Gann methods + Fib extension :
First our main support at 33K,,,,
Second we are at very important resistance it is a cluster of 3 different Gann angles at almost 46K the same price to change the secondary bearish trend int bullish !!
if we want to crosse this level we need a big volume and HUGE bullish candle
if cross happened our first target is 57K and there is another cluster of 3 Gann angles and 0.618 fib extension so I highly recommend you to take your profit if we reach this level because we may have some correction before we continue our bullish market
NOTE: it might keep going up but in my opinion I do not think this will happen.
At the end my opinion is that we will break 46k after few days from now and it is very important that we do not lose our main support at 33K.
and if you have any opinion please feel free to share it in the comments below + if you like my analyze please give me a like and follow me @hazem44 for more
Have a nice day :)))
ADA = Bump & Run Reversal BottomADA just put in and retested the trendline of a Bump & Run Reversal Bottom Pattern.
thepatternsite.com
This is the best performing chart pattern one can find, according to the Encyclopedia of chart patterns by Thomas Bulkowski.
Per the Encyclopedia of Chart Patterns: Price tends to rise 17% - 24%, with a breakeven failure rate of just 9% when this pattern forms.
A rise in this range would conveniently test another developing larger Bump & Run Reversal Bottom on the ADA chart. (Orange Line)
I have two TP levels at $1.72 & $1.80.
If price breaks through the orange line and retests, it could go much higher.
I have a feeling the orange trendline may serve as resistance though, as ADA would be pretty overextended at that level.
Regardless I will take profit at my two levels and wait for confirmation of the larger pattern.
Potential Break Out Of Months Long Resistance Very SoonShort-term chart patterns/ Technical indicators point towards HBAR breaking out of months long resistance (blue line on price chart).
Bullish:
Chart Patterns:
-Cup and handle (purple) formed points to $0.297 target
-Symmetrical triangle (orange) targets are between $0.327 and $0.321
-Previous cup and handle pattern met (black), likely that current cup and handle will meet its target
Technical Indicators:
-MACD has formed red/white histograms and about to have a bullish cross
-Stoch RSI crossed bullish after bottoming out
-RSI bounced off short term support
Bearish:
-Small bearish divergence formed on the RSI (yellow circles/lines)

TRADE SETUPS
Below are the potential trade setups that I would be interested in trading. Regardless of the path that the price takes, I will be monitoring the market for a valid trade entry signal.
Long Trade Setup #1: Breakout and Continuation
To open a long position, we are waiting for price to move back down to test previous resistance as support and then bounce back up.
Trade Entry Confirmation:
1. Price Action: Price d falls back down below $1298 and bounce back up.
2. Candlestick Pattern: A bullish candlestick pattern
3. Volume: Above average volume signal candle
4. MACD: MACD bottoming out
Short Trade Setup #1: False Breakout
To open a short position, we are waiting for price to break above the horizontal resistance and then fall back down.
Trade Entry Confirmation:
1. Price Action: Price breaks above and then falls below the high @ $1349, forming a bull trap
2. Candlestick Pattern: A breakout candlestick followed by a breakdown candlestick
3. Volume: Above average volume on both breakout candle and breakdown candle
4. MACD: MACD histogram topping out
STRATEGY TYPES
My strategies fall into three categories:
1. Official strategies are those that have proven to be profitable over a large number of trades
2. Testing strategies are those that have proven to be profitable but the sample size is relatively small
3. Formulating strategies are strategies that are still in development
ENTRY CONFIRMATIONS
Ideally we get all confirmations for an entry, but sometimes we might take a trade when we have fewer confirmations. The more confirmations, the higher the win probability, though it also means you miss out on some profitable trades if you're only taking trades when we have all confirmations. It's up to your own risk appetite to decide when you feel comfortable entering a trade. You can also adjust position size based on level of conviction, entering a bigger position when there are more confirmations. Make sure you practice proper risk management and money management.
TRADE MANAGEMENT
I have put in preliminary Stop Loss and Take Profit on the chart, but these will depend on how the entry setup forms, so I will update when we have a valid entry signal.
Stop Loss: We typically put a SL around the high / low of the entry area, though we might adjust based on market conditions such as high ATR ( average true range ) or long wicks.
Take Profit: We typically aim for at least a 2:1 RRR (risk reward ratio), but you can decide to take profits earlier, adjust stop loss as we get into profit, take partial profit, leave a small portion for larger gains, etc. How you want to manage depends on your own risk appetite and what you are comfortable with.
RISK MANAGEMENT / POSITION SIZING
Trading is a marathon, not a sprint. The key is to stay in the game long enough for long term probabilities to play out. Even strategies with 90%+ win rate will have losing trades, so if you go all in one every trade, eventually you will blow up your account. My recommendation is to dynamically change your position size based on the size of the stop loss so that you are risking 1-2% of your total account size on any given trade. This means that if you’re wrong and the trade hitting the stop loss, you lose 1-2% of your account. As an illustration, if your account balance is 1BTC, then the most you should lose on any given trade should be 0.01-0.02BTC. Notice that I didn’t mention leverage here. Because what leverage (3X, 5X,10X, etc.) doesn’t matter here. What matters is the position size that matches up with a 1-2% account balance risk.
HOW TO USE MY ANALYSIS
Every day I post potential areas of interest and trade setups based on the latest market conditions and market structure. Once price reaches one of the identified areas of interest and gives a valid entry signal, I will post the entry, along with stop loss and take profit levels, in real time. No hindsight 20/20 here. Everything is in real time for full transparency and so that you can actually enter the same trades that I'm entering. Some trades only give us a few minutes to enter, which is why it's imperative that you follow me so that you don't miss out. Below are two ways that you can use the analysis that I publish daily:
1. You can integrate my analysis into your own analysis, for example by using it as a starting point, or as confirmation of your own TA, or to identify potential trades for yourself.
2. You follow the trade setups and trade entry signals that I give in real time.

ENTRY SIGNAL TYPES
Trade calls will be separated into two categories, official and unofficial. The reason for the distinction is that official entry calls are only for high probability trade setups whereas unofficial calls might have slightly lower probability of winning but positive net profitability due to high risk reward. As I see a lot of traders, do not practice proper risk management and position sizing, I want to protect them from the second type of trades. At the same time, I know there are more sophisticated traders who can take advantage of both types of calls. So this is the solution that I’ve come up with, which is to separate the two trade types into two types of entry calls. Official entry calls will come with detailed entry, stop loss and take profit levels, whereas unofficial trade entries might or might not and will rely a little bit more on the trader themselves to manage the trade. This is one way to distinguish the more experienced traders from the newer ones. If you are unable to enter an unofficial trade entry without those details, then it means that you shouldn’t be taking those trades and should stick only to the official trades.
1. Official entry calls will be posted using “trading active” post type.
2. Unofficial entry calls are potential good trading opportunities that will be posted using “comments” post type.
Below are the potential trade setups that I would be interested in trading. Regardless of the path that the price takes, I will be monitoring the market for a valid trade entry signal.
Long Trade Setup #1: Retest and Continuation (61.8Fib)
To open a long position, we are waiting for price to retrace down to test the 61.8Fib and then continue moving up.
Trade Entry Confirmation:
1. Price Action: Price needs to move back down to the 61.8Fib @ $1045 and bounce back up.
2. Candlestick Pattern: A bullish candlestick pattern
3. Volume: Above average volume on entry candle
4. MACD: MACD histogram bottoming out
Long Trade Setup #2: Breakout and Continuation
To open a long position, we are waiting for price to create a new high, move back down to test previous resistance as support and then bounce back up.
Trade Entry Confirmation:
1. Price Action: Price breaks above and falls back down below $1257 and bounce back up.
2. Candlestick Pattern: A bullish candlestick pattern
3. Volume: Above average volume signal candle
4. MACD: MACD bottoming out
Short Trade Setup #1: False Breakout
To open a short position, we are waiting for price to break above the horizontal resistance and then fall back down.
Trade Entry Confirmation:
1. Price Action: Price breaks above and then falls below the high of $1257, forming a bull trap
2. Candlestick Pattern: A breakout candlestick followed by a breakdown candlestick
3. Volume: Above average volume on both breakout candle and breakdown candle
4. MACD: MACD histogram topping out
ENTRY SIGNAL TYPES

2. Unofficial entry calls are potential good trading opportunities that will be posted using “comments” post type.

ETHEREUM (ETHUSDT) DAILY LONG&SHORY TRADE SETUPS 2020/12/30MARKET OVERVIEW
Price Action: After reaching a high of $748, price retraced to the 200MAs @~$700 (where we took a long), and is now back up consolidating near the highs, giving us a bull bias.
Chart Patterns: We have an ascending triangle pattern, which typically breaks to the upside, giving us a bull bias.
Areas of Interest: The area(s) of interest for us is the highs of $748. Once price reaches one of our areas of interest and gives us a valid entry signal, I will update the trade, so make sure you follow me to get the trade entry signals in real time.
TRADES(S) RECAP
Yesterday we had a winning trade! We entered a long @ $703, with Stop Loss @ $690, and price reached a high of $747.50, giving a risk reward ratio of over 3:1, meaning if you risked 1BTC on this trade, you could've made more than 3BTC.
TRADE SETUPS
Below are two potential trade setups. Given the bullish bias, the most likely scenario is "Long Trade Setup #1: Breakout and Continuation", but regardless of the path that the price takes, I will be monitoring the market for a valid trade entry signal.
Long Trade Setup #1: Breakout and Continuation
To open a long position, we are waiting for price to break resistance, move back down to test previous resistance as support and then bounce back up.
Trade Entry Confirmation:
1. Price Action: Price breaks above the high of $748 with force, creating space between the price and the $748 level, falls back down to $748 and bounce back up.
2. Candlestick Pattern: A bullish candlestick pattern such as a bullish engulfing candle, a pinbar , or a multiple candlestick breakdown (a large red candle followed by multiple green candles that eventually close above the open/high of the large red candle)
2.1 Ideally Engulfing / Break candle has a large candle body with small wicks
2.2 Ideally Engulfing /Break candle closes near the highs of the candle
3. Volume: Above average volume on the bullish engulfing candle, pinbar , or on any of the multiple green candles that eventually break the red candle (ideally on the candle that breaks)
4. MACD: MACD histogram bottoming out, as indicated by the histogram becoming less negative (changing from red to pink)
Short Trade Setup #1: False Breakout
To open a short position, we are waiting for price to break above the horizontal resistance @ $748 and then fall back down.
Trade Entry Confirmation:
1. Price Action: Price breaks above the high of $748 and then rapidly falls below $748, forming a bull trap
2. Candlestick Pattern: A breakout candlestick (candle close above $748) followed by a breakdown candlestick (candle close below $748)
2.1 Ideally breakout and breakdown candlesticks are consecutive candles, but can also have a few candles in between the two candlesticks
2.2 Ideally the breakdown candle has a large candle body with very small wicks
3. Volume: Above average volume ( volume above the average volume line) on both breakout candle and breakdown candle, ideally the breakdown candle's volume is a local high
4. MACD: MACD histogram topping out, as indicated by the histogram becoming less positive (color changing from dark green to light green)

Sorry for the late post today, had to go to the hospital. Thanks for your support. Feel free to ask any questions, and please let me know how I can improve these daily posts / what you would like me to include in these daily posts, thanks.
UPDATES: Going forward, I will be adding chart patterns and previous trades onto the the chart. Let me know if there are other things you guys want me to lay out on the charts.
EURGBP - Trading the breakout of an important key-levelEURGBP shows very interesting action in this period.
At the bottom, we have an uptrend line that recently proved to be quite reliable, rejecting the price at 0.9020.
Another level that supports buyers' positions can be found around 0.9070, where we have a short term support:
At the top, we have a very good downtrend line that, combined with other key-levels, forms a curious series of chart patterns.
Downtrend line + support = Descending Triangle
Downtrend line + downtrend line = descending channel
Downtrend line + uptrend line = pennant (or symmetrical triangle in this case)
This is what we have:
How to trade so many chart patterns? It might look complicated, but if you really understand the logic of chart patterns, there's a simple plan that we can follow in a scenario like this. We can trade a possible breakout of the uptrend line.
The breakout of the uptrend line would result in a breakout of all the chart patterns that we have analysed so far and, as we know, it could boost the price action in favour of buyers.
So my trading idea for this chart is to place a stop entry order at 0.9160, with the stop loss right below the support and with a take profit that is calculated with the logic of the measured move.

AUDJPY: Double Top Pattern: Short PositionA friend of mine notice a double top formation in the currency pair AUDJPY. After taking a look, I confirmed that it is indeed a Double Top formation. I placed my short position @ 75.077, but I recommend you all to enter at the @ 74.808, because that's the proper way to trade the Double Top pattern.

GBPUSD 1H BULLISH FLAG BREAKOUT LONG TRADEBullish Flags are a chart pattern under the Range Patterns.
Bullish Flag Ranges are repeatable trading chart patterns.
Bullish Flag Range chart patterns will have a long directional bias depending on the previous incoming trend.
Each chart pattern will have defining trendlines of the support/resistance levels creating the pattern.
Whatever time frame you are trading this chart pattern, wait for a candle close outside of the trendline in the direction of the breakout candle. (Our time frame preference is the Daily chart ).
Add volume indicator - Volume is the amount of $ that went into a particular candle or in Forex the # of trades that took place.
Add ATR indicator - Volatility is the amount of price movement that occurred. Use the ATR to measure the price movement.
When you see descending Volume bars and descending ATR line (which indicates volatility ) this shows a dis-interest in traders to invest in this pair creating consolidation which creates the chart pattern.
Trade Management after there is a breakout candle close.
1 - Position size (compare volume bar to volume ma line).
a - Breakout candle must be 100% of average volume for a full position size.
b - If 75% of average volume then ½ position size. (To find 75% of Volume
look at the volume settings on the chart – divide smaller # into larger # = 75%+)
2 - Enter two trades.
3 - SL for both trades will be 1.5 x ATR.
4 - 1st trade TP will be 1 x ATR.
5 - No TP on 2nd trade – letting profit run and adjusting SL to follow price.
6 - When 1st TP hit – move 2nd trade SL to breakeven.
7 - Adjust the 2nd trade SL to follow price.
*8 – After Breakout candle – if price closes back into chart pattern close trade
*9 - When breakout candle is more than 1 ATR from breakout candle open.
a - Enter 1st trade at candle close with ½ position size.
b - Enter 2nd trade with a pending limit order that is 1 ATR of breakout candle open.
c – Price should pullback to that pending limit order for 2nd trade.
d – If Price returns back into chart pattern close trade before SL is hit.

Head & Shoulders?Looking back into the price action of BTC, I was able to find a handful of Head & Shoulders chart patterns. Many of these appeared after a level of the Fibonacci channel was challenged and more interestingly, the patterns did not fully do their job, totally reversing the trend.
On this chart, we have a Fibonacci channel going back to August 2015. After the completion in December 2018, it seems that the price forms reversal chart patterns whenever a Fibonacci level is challenged. This has happened for almost all the levels; In June 2017, the 0.382 Fibo level is challenged and shortly thereafter, the price forms a Head & Shoulder pattern. The head itself is more likely an Adam & Eve Double Tops. Another instance of such an occurrence is November 2017 where the price forms an Eve & Adam Double Tops right after the 0.618 Fibo level is challenged. More interestingly, while both Head & Shoulders and Doube Tops patterns are supposed to totally reverse the trend, they act in favor of the trend. In other words, these patterns do push the price down, but they do not reverse the pattern. After the price goes down to some extent, bullish momentum increases and the buyers establish the price above the previously challenged Fibo level.
I am quite convinced that we are trending upwards and the price just recently did challenge the 0.236 level. Even though the pattern is not fully developed, my guess is that we will have a Head & Shoulder very soon. After all, I will not be surprised if we push than a little and shortly thereafter, break the old swing highs. I will be a buyer on dips...
Stay tuned...!
Bitcoin - Double Top?I'm not the master of the charts, the professor, the legend, the king... I'm not the guru of Technical Analysis. I can't find chart patterns, like them, in markets where there are no patterns at all. That's why sorry, if this analysis based on a reversal chart pattern like Double Top, is not so wonderful and proper from your or gurus' point of view.
When we talk about chart patterns, different traders have different rules and styles for drawing patterns. For one trader H&S is formed, and for another trader the right or left shoulder is not so clear and he does not use this pattern for trading. It's just an example.
Let's look at the 4H timeframe. The price reached 4000.00 resistance level two times and could not break it. We got two highs and the swing low between them. It's a double top pattern, at least it looks like this. I can't say that it's the perfect pattern because for such one I would like to see clear swing highs and lows. But I would want to use it even it's not perfect. If you think I'm wrong, please read one more time the 1st paragraph.
As I wrote in the previous post about BTC, it will be logical if the price bounces from 4000.00 level and make a correction. It will be logical movement in the bullish structure. Now we have the reversal pattern from the resistance and bearish divergence. Yes, the double top must be confirmed by breaking below the signal level = the local swing low. But I think it's just the question of time.
RSI confirms the price reversal. MACD supports the downward movement. DMI is bullish and confirms the strong trend, but ADX line falls and it tells that bulls become weaker. The market is going to move lower and these signals confirm it.
This post is not about shorting BTC. It's just the information for those who hold buy trades with close targets. Maybe it's time to think about fixing profit? For medium term and long term traders and investors, this possible correction must be used only for adding more trade volume to their active positions.
If you think that this post is worthwhile, I will be very grateful for your rewards by LIKEs.
As usual, your comments, opinions are welcome in comments!

We can use all the various tools to analyze the market’s behavior and find the patterns that represent the best edges, and from an analytical perspective, these patterns can appear to be precisely the same in every respect, both mathematically and visually. But, if the consistency of the group of traders who are creating the pattern “now” is different by even one person from the group that created the pattern in the past, then the outcome of the current pattern has the potential to be different from the past pattern. It takes only one trader, somewhere in the world, with a different belief about the future to change the outcome of any particular market pattern and negate the edge that pattern represents.
The most fundamental characteristic of the market’s behavior is that each “now moment” market situation, each “now moment” behavior pattern, and each “now moment” edge is always a unique occurrence with its own outcome, independent of all others. Uniqueness implies that anything can happen, either what we know (expect or anticipate), or what we don’t know (or can’t know, unless we had extraordinary perceptual abilities). A constant flow of both known and unknown variables creates a probabilistic environment where we don’t know for certain what will happen next. This last statement may seem quite logical.
