Trade Like A Sniper - Episode 25 - BABA - (8th June 2024)This video is part of a video series where I backtest a specific asset using the TradingView Replay function, and perform a top-down analysis using ICT's Concepts in order to frame ONE high-probability setup. I choose a random point of time to replay, and begin to work my way down the timeframes. Trading like a sniper is not about entries with no drawdown. It is about careful planning, discipline, and taking your shot at the right time in the best of conditions.
A couple of things to note:
- I cannot see news events.
- I cannot change timeframes without affecting my bias due to higher-timeframe candles revealing its entire range.
- I cannot go to a very low timeframe due to the limit in amount of replayed candlesticks
In this session I will be analyzing Alibaba (BABA), starting from the 6-Month chart.
If you want to learn more, check out my other videos on TradingView or on YT.

Dissecting SPY Price trends With Fibonacci Price TheoryHave you ever wanted to learn the one technique you can use on any chart, any interval, or any technical or price set up to help you become a better trader?
Let me show you the basics of Fibonacci Price Theory and how to use it.
Price is always seeking new highs or new lows - ALWAYS.
You'll hear others talking about price filling voids or moving through accumulation/distribution phases - which is all true. Price moves through these support/resistance levels or quickly through price voids to reach new highs or lows. This is all part of Fibonacci Price Theory.
When you learn to understand various intervals using this technique (Weekly, Daily, 30 Min, or others), you'll quickly be able to identify short-term, long-term, and intra-day trends like a pro.
It is not about catching every trend reversal/setup. This technique is about teaching you to stay on the right side of trend and to target the Sweet Spot in the middle of breakaway/breakdown trends.
Follow my research. Learn how I can help you become a better trader.
Advanced Analysis Of SPX500 Using Fibonacci, Channels, & MoreTo continue to expand your learning experiences and to see what I do in the background (trying to figure out advanced price theory and Fibonacci secrets), I created this video to share some of my work.
The idea is for you to watch and learn - trying to pick out what you see as valuable and possibly sparking some insights into advanced Technical Analysis concepts.
Fibonacci Price Theory is the basis for almost all of my work. But price channels, price action, cross-market analysis, and multi-timeframe analysis are all part of what I use to determine probable outcomes - and I'm still wrong sometimes.
I see trading/investing is "the attempt to use your best judgment to move probability onto your side related to trade actions." After you have reasonably attempted to use your best abilities to determine the "smart trade", the next stage is determining allocation (how much you want to trade).
Remember, the easiest way to accomplish this is to focus on your RISK levels. If you have a 3% risk on a trade, figure that risk level out as real dollars - then as yourself if you are comfortable risking that amount of money on the trade.
Again, this may be a bit more advanced than you are ready for, but I'm trying to build on the basics of trend channels, basic Fibonacci Price Theory, and more. The deeper you get, the deeper it goes.
Visit my profile to see all my videos and learn how I attempt to identify future price trends (I read the charts and see the data). Plus, I pay attention to historical price trends and cycles.
How you enjoy.
A Simple Method Of Evaluating Trade Setups For Everyone - PART IThis is a simple example of how anyone can attempt to understand price action, trade setups, and determine if the current trade setup is valid for any trading action.
Unless you have a trading system that helps you identify highly successful trade setups, most people struggle to find opportunities before they turn into breakout trends (up or down). Ideally, most traders want to get into trades before the big breakout, or breakdown, happens.
This video, part I of an extended series, will help you learn to use simple tools to identify qualified trade setups from invalid setups.
You can trade whatever you want. But remember, the trend is your friend, and learning to understand price theory, trends, channels, and support/resistance is all you need to make better decisions.
Watch this video to see if it helps you. Over the next few weeks, I'll create more videos highlighting simple techniques to help you become a better trader. I'll review dozens of charts and highlight what works and what doesn't.
Trading is a matter of managing risks while attempting to generate profits. This will be a great way for me to share my thoughts with all of you while trying to help you learn techniques to help you build solid skills.
Hope you enjoy this first video.
A Simple Method Of Evaluating Trade Setups For Everyone - IIIMore examples of trade setups and how I use my custom algos to help identify stronger trade opportunities from other symbols.
In this example, near the end of this video, I review the QLD chart (Daily) which provides a very clear example of major trend vs. intermediate trend. It is very important trader learn to see these opportunities from all aspects.
Please pay very close attention to the details I'm sharing related to trading concepts and theory. I'm trying to teach all of you to see charts in a different way. See PRICE as the driver of trends, and counter-trends, as Fibonacci Price Theory describes.
Basic Rules of Fibonacci Price Theory:
1. Price is ALWAYS seeking new highs or new lows - ALWAYS.
2. Failure to establish a new high means price will attempt to retest/break recent/new lows.
3. Ultimate HIGH/LOW levels are critical to understanding major trends vs. intermediate trends.
4. If you have trouble identifying a clear trend on a Daily chart, try Weekly or 240 min as an alternative.
5. If you still can't identify trend clearly, wait it out. Price will ALWAYS attempt to make new highs/lows. Sometimes, you have to be patient and wait for consolidation trends to work themselves out.
My objective is to show you how I look at charts and identify trade opportunities. Simply put, I just trying to help you see and understand simple TA theories and to help you learn to identify great trade opportunities.
Hope you enjoy.
A Simple Method Of Evaluating Trade Setups For Everyone - IIThis second video reinforces the concepts supporting my simple method of validating or invalidating trade setups using price channels, Fibonacci price theory, Stochastics, RSI, and simple price metrics.
Anyone can do this - it just takes a little patience and learning.
The trick to the ENTRY is to WAIT to see how price reacts near support/resistance.
REJECTION is very important in terms of seeing price REJECT near the price channels and near support/resistance.
Learn to use these techniques to help you learn to become a better trader.
Hope you enjoy.
SPY Cycle Patterns: Resolving volatility into March 2023This example video will help you understand how I use my predictive SPY Cycle Patterns in combination with traditional TA (Fibonacci and others) to prepare/plan for GAPS, trends, and opportunities for trading through the week.
I'm a strong believer that you don't need to trade every minor trend. Taking 2~4 good trades a week across one or two symbols is all that is required to be able to generate 50% to 100% profit every week (using options).
Just last week one of my friends used my SPY Cycle Patterns (and his own skills) to make over 700% ROI. It does happen.
Watch this video. Next week will be very volatile in my opinion. Once we clear the upper resistance level, we should continue to trend up to $435 or higher.
The burst of volatility will likely make for great trade setups - if you know what you are doing.

SPY Example Setup For DaytradersHere is an example dual-chart setup for SPY daytraders.
I set this up to help my followers understand how to perceive price action as we attempt to transition through the $405 SPY Support level.
If my analysis is correct, we'll see a fairly strong reversion (upside) price trend as long as the $404~405 level holds.
This chart includes a number of TradingView PUBLIC SCRIPTS and a dual-chart layout.
Both Heiken-Ashi and traditional Candlestick charts are used.

Stay cautious of a PEAK/TOP in the markets today. My SPY Cycle Patterns suggest the markets will establish a PEAK/TOP today - then trend downward.
I created this video to help my followers stay aware of the short-term nature of price in a reactionary price trend - like today.
If you are chasing this rally, stay very cautious of risks related to my SPY cycle patterns. Overall, I expect the markets to peak, stall, then trend downward over the next 48 hours.
Take quick trades with targeted profit targets. This is not a friendly market uptrend in my opinion.
I believe the $408 level is a likely downside price target for the SPY by Thursday.

Learning to stay ahead of market trends - 2023 & BeyondFollow my research. Learn why I expect 2023 to be a very difficult year for active traders and how you can avoid all the risks by modifying your capital allocation levels RIGHT NOW.
You don't have to stand in front of a freight train or try to force trades when they are not opportunistic. You could just wait for the better setup in July/Aug 2023 and ride out Wave-3.
Do you want to gain profits or just try to gamble your capital away?
Sure, if you are a day trader, you may be able to trade some of the bigger price swings over the next 5+ months. But, most of the price action is going to be in ETFs and select US stock sectors.
Learn to position your trades to capitalize when opportunities are the RICHEST for success. Wave-1 has nearly ended. You are trying to catch the last 5% to 7%+ of an uptrend before the US markets will slide into a Wave-2 correction.
Are you sure you want to risk a boatload of capital at the end of Wave-1 right now?
Knowing when to trade is important. Knowing when NOT to trade is even more important.

The rabbit-hole of knowledge I've amassed over the past 25+ years is deep. I could go on and on about different strategies, theories, concepts, and indicators.
What I've learned is...
KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid!
_ The IDIOT SYSTEM is often the best for new traders.
_ Use Multi-timeframes to confirm price trend/direction.
_ Use PRICE STRUCTURE as the core of all of your research.
Hope these help everyone out.

Part 2 - Fibonacci Price Theory on SPY 60 Min (Deeper we go)After 25+ years of research, study, and application of some of the most incredible trading strategies - I'm sharing one of the MOST IMPORTANT structural price theories with all of you...
The Fibonacci Price Theory.
The primary rule of the Fibonacci Price Theory is:
Price is ALWAYS seeking NEW HIGHS or NEW LOWS. Price is never NOT attempting to reach NEW HIGHS or NEW LOWS.
Let that sink in for a minute.
If you knew price was always attempting to establish a trend, or continue a trend.. how would that change your trading/investing tactics?
What if I showed you how I use Fibonacci Price Theory? And how YOU can use it to further your own trading skills?
Here you go, A 60 minute SPY chart where I'm applying the basics of Fibonacci Price Theory to the current market price rally.
If you've ever wanted to learn the TRUE CONSTRUCT of price - this is it.

Why Shorting support & Longing resistance gets traders REKT!INDEX:BTCUSD INDEX:ETHUSD FXOPEN:XAUUSD FRED:SP500 NASDAQ:NDX
I see this time and time again - no matter if you are trading, cryptocurrency, commodities, indices or stocks, the principle remains the same:
Shorting at support and longing at resistance is GENERALLY not a good idea.
I show you examples in the video and explain why.
There is however a good time to short at support - i.e. When it has flipped into resistance after the retest, changing the market structure - and the inverse is true for longs.
