Binance confirms launch of Moonbix, its new Telegram mini-game

The customer support team at Binance has confirmed that the company will soon release "Moonbix," a new play-to-earn (P2E) game available on Telegram's Mini App.

The statement follows recent rumors that Binance is launching a space-themed game, where players control a spaceship with a claw-like manipulator to collect items like yellow stones and gifts scattered across galaxies.

Several X (formerly Twitter) accounts have posted screenshots of the game, suggesting it might share some similarities with traditional gold mining games. However, Binance has not officially confirmed these details.

Although Binance hasn't made an official announcement yet, early access links for Moonbix have already surfaced. The customer support team said Moonbix was inadvertently leaked before its official release date.

"We’re aware that our upcoming TG mini-app game, Moonbix, was leaked ahead of the planned launch date," stated the Binance support team on X and Binance's official announcement channel . "While we're thrilled by the community's response, we’re still fine-tuning the product to ensure the best user experience at the official launch."

The team also apologized for any inconvenience caused, adding that it is addressing individual cases of users affected by the leak.

Binance plans to officially roll out the game soon. Users are advised to stay alert to impersonation accounts and only use the official Telegram bot and announcement channels provided by Binance.

At the time of reporting, Binance released a set of Terms and Conditions for the Binance Telegram Mini App, specifically for the game Moonbix.

This is a developing story. We'll give an update as we learn more.
