Force Motors shares rise 4% on defence force order for 2,978 vehicles

Force Motors share price jumped more than 4 percent and extended the gains on the third consecutive session on March 28 after the company received an order from Indian Defence Forces.

At 09:30am, Force Motors was quoting at Rs 9,190.80, up Rs 404.65, or 4.61 percent, on the BSE.

The company has been declared as L1 vendor for the procurement of 2978 Force Gurkha light vehicles (GS 4X4 800 kg Soft Top) by Indian Defence Forces i.e. by Directorate General of Capb, Devp (CD-13/14) General Staff Branch, IHQ of MoD (Army) New Delhi.

The company sold 3,600 units in February 2025, a growth of 46.28 percent against 2,461 units sold in February 2024.

In the month of January, the company received an order for supply of 2429 units of BSVI Diesel Ambulance to Medical Health and Family Welfare Department Uttar Pradesh.

The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 10,272.65 and a 52-week low of Rs 6,128.55 on 29 April, 2024 and 28 January, 2025, respectively.

Currently, the stock is trading 10.67 percent below its 52-week high and 49.74 percent above its 52-week low.

Market capitalisation stands at Rs 12,091.79 crore.The share price jumped 39 percent in the last one-month.
