Volatility is a statistical measure of the dispersion of returns for market index. In most cases, the higher the volatility, the higher the risk. Volatility is often measured as either the standard deviation or variance between returns from market index.
This indicator helps you identify the direction of the trend by calculating the standard deviation of the movement.
