KillZones + ACD Fisher [TradingFinder] Sessions + Reversal Level🔵 Introduction
🟣 ACD Method
"The Logical Trader" opens with a thorough exploration of the ACD Methodology, which focuses on pinpointing particular price levels associated with the opening range.
This approach enables traders to establish reference points for their trades, using "A" and "C" points as entry markers. Additionally, the book covers the concept of the "Pivot Range" and how integrating it with the ACD method can help maximize position size while minimizing risk.
🟣 Session
The forex market is operational 24 hours a day, five days a week, closing only on Saturdays and Sundays. Typically, traders prefer to concentrate on one specific forex trading session rather than attempting to trade around the clock.
Trading sessions are defined time periods when a particular financial market is active, allowing for the execution of trades.
The most crucial trading sessions within the 24-hour cycle are the Asia, London, and New York sessions, as these are when substantial money flows and liquidity enter the market.
🟣 Kill Zone
Traders in financial markets earn profits by capitalizing on the difference between their buy/sell prices and the prevailing market prices.
Traders vary in their trading timelines. Some traders engage in daily or even hourly trading, necessitating activity during periods with optimal trading volumes and notable price movements.
Kill zones refer to parts of a session characterized by higher trading volumes and increased price volatility compared to the rest of the session.
🔵 How to Use
🟣 Session Times
The "Asia Session" comprises two parts: "Sydney" and "Tokyo." This session begins at 23:00 and ends at 06:00 UTC. The "Asia KillZone" starts at 23:00 and ends at 03:55 UTC.
The "London Session" includes "Frankfurt" and "London," starting at 07:00 and ending at 14:25 UTC. The "London KillZone" runs from 07:00 to 09:55 UTC.
The "New York" session starts at 14:30 and ends at 19:25 UTC, with the "New York am KillZone" beginning at 14:30 and ending at 22:55 UTC.
🟣 ACD Methodology
The ACD strategy is versatile, applicable to various markets such as stocks, commodities, and forex, providing clear buy and sell signals to set price targets and stop losses.
This strategy operates on the premise that the opening range of trades holds statistical significance daily, suggesting that initial market movements impact the market's behavior throughout the day.
Known as a breakout strategy, the ACD method thrives in volatile or strongly trending markets like crude oil and stocks.
Some key rules for employing the ACD strategy include :
Utilize points A and C as critical reference points, continually monitoring these during trades as they act as entry and exit markers.
Analyze daily and multi-day pivot ranges to understand market trends. Prices above the pivots indicate an upward trend, while prices below signal a downward trend.
In forex trading, the ACD strategy can be implemented using the ACD indicator, a technical tool that gauges the market's supply and demand balance. By evaluating trading volume and price, this indicator assists traders in identifying trend strength and optimal entry and exit points.
To effectively use the ACD indicator, consider the following :
Identifying robust trends: The ACD indicator can help pinpoint strong, consistent market trends.
Determining entry and exit points: ACD generates buy and sell signals to optimize trade timing.
Bullish Setup :
When the "A up" line is breached, it’s wise to wait briefly to confirm it’s not a "Fake Breakout" and that the price stabilizes above this line.
Upon entering the trade, the most effective stop loss is positioned below the "A down" line. It's advisable to backtest this to ensure the best outcomes. The recommended reward-to-risk ratio for this strategy is 1, which should also be verified through backtesting.
Bearish Setup :
When the "A down" line is breached, it’s prudent to wait briefly to ensure it’s not a "Fake Breakout" and that the price stabilizes below this line.
Upon entering the trade, the most effective stop loss is positioned above the "A up" line. Backtesting is recommended to confirm the best results. The recommended reward-to-risk ratio for this strategy is 1, which should also be validated through backtesting.
Advantages of Combining Kill Zone and ACD Method in Market Analysis :
Precise Trade Timing : Integrating the Kill Zone strategy with the ACD Method enhances precision in trade entries and exits. The ACD Method identifies key points for trading, while the Kill Zone focuses on high-activity periods, together ensuring optimal timing for trades.
Better Trend Identification : The ACD Method’s pivot ranges help spot market trends, and when combined with the Kill Zone’s emphasis on periods of significant price movement, traders can more effectively identify and follow strong market trends.
Maximized Profits and Minimized Risks : The ACD Method's structured approach to setting price targets and stop losses, coupled with the Kill Zone's high-volume trading periods, helps maximize profit potential while reducing risk.
Robust Risk Management : Combining these methods provides a comprehensive risk management strategy, strategically placing stop losses and protecting capital during volatile periods.
Versatility Across Markets : Both methods are applicable to various markets, including stocks, commodities, and forex, offering flexibility and adaptability in different trading environments.
Enhanced Confidence : Using the combined insights of the Kill Zone and ACD Method, traders gain confidence in their decision-making process, reducing emotional trading and improving consistency.
By merging the Kill Zone’s focus on trading volumes and the ACD Method’s structured breakout strategy, traders benefit from a synergistic approach that enhances precision, trend identification, and risk management across multiple markets.
Daily Pivots
Pivot Points Level [TradingFinder] 4 Methods + Reversal lines🔵 Introduction
"Pivot Points" are places on the price chart where buyers and sellers are most active. Pivot points are calculated based on the previous day's price data and serve as reference points for traders to make decisions.
Types of Pivot Points :
Floor
Woodie
Camarilla
Fibonacci
🟣 Floor Pivot Points
Floor pivot points are widely used in technical analysis. The central pivot point (PP) serves as the main level of support or resistance, indicating the potential direction of the trend.
The first to third levels of resistance (R1, R2, R3) and support (S1, S2, S3) provide additional signals for potential trend reversals or continuations.
Floor Pivot Points Formula :
Pivot Point (PP): (H + L + C) / 3
First Resistance (R1): (2 * P) - L
Second Resistance (R2): P + H - L
Third Resistance (R3): H + 2 * (P - L)
First Support (S1): (2 * P) - H
Second Support (S2): P - H + L
Third Support (S3): L - 2 * (H - P)
🟣 Camarilla Pivot Points
Camarilla pivot points include eight levels that closely align with support and resistance. These points are particularly useful for setting stop-loss and profit targets.
Camarilla Pivot Points Formula :
Fourth Resistance (R4): (H - L) * 1.1 / 2 + C
Third Resistance (R3): (H - L) * 1.1 / 4 + C
Second Resistance (R2): (H - L) * 1.1 / 6 + C
First Resistance (R1): (H - L) * 1.1 / 12 + C
First Support (S1): C - (H - L) * 1.1 / 12
Second Support (S2): C - (H - L) * 1.1 / 6
Third Support (S3): C - (H - L) * 1.1 / 4
Fourth Support (S4): C - (H - L) * 1.1 / 2
🟣 Woodie Pivot Points
Woodie pivot points are similar to floor pivot points but place more emphasis on the closing price. This method often results in different pivot levels than the floor method.
Woodie Pivot Points Formula :
Pivot Point (PP): (H + L + 2 * C) / 4
First Resistance (R1): (2 * P) - L
Second Resistance (R2): P + H - L
First Support (S1): (2 * P) - H
Second Support (S2): P - H + L
🟣 Fibonacci Pivot Points
Fibonacci pivot points use the standard floor pivot points and then apply Fibonacci retracement levels to the range of the previous trading period. The common retracement levels used are 38.2%, 61.8%, and 100%.
Fibonacci Pivot Points Formula :
Pivot Point (PP): (H + L + C) / 3
Third Resistance (R3): PP + ((H - L) * 1.000)
Second Resistance (R2): PP + ((H - L) * 0.618)
First Resistance (R1): PP + ((H - L) * 0.382)
First Support (S1): PP - ((H - L) * 0.382)
Second Support (S2): PP - ((H - L) * 0.618)
Third Support (S3): PP - ((H - L) * 1.000)
These pivot point calculations help traders identify potential support and resistance levels, enabling more informed decision-making in their trading strategies.
🔵 How to Use
🟣 Two Methods for Trading Pivot Points
There are two primary methods for trading pivot points: trading with "pivot point breakouts" and trading with "price reversals."
🟣 Pivot Point Breakout
A breakout through pivot lines provides a significant signal to the trader, indicating a change in market sentiment. When an upward breakout occurs and the price crosses these lines, a trader can enter a long position and place their stop-loss below the pivot point (P).
Similarly, if a downward breakout happens, a short order can be placed below the pivot point.
When trading with pivot point breakouts, if the upward trend breaks, the first and second support levels can be the trader's profit targets. In a downward trend, the first and second resistance levels will serve this role.
🟣 Price Reversal
Another method for trading pivot points is waiting for the price to reverse from the support and resistance levels. To execute this strategy, one should trade in the opposite direction of the trend as the price reverses from the pivot point.
It's worth noting that although traders use this tool in higher time frames, it yields better results in shorter time frames such as one-hour, 30-minute, and 15-minute intervals.
Support Resistance Channels/Zones Multi Time FrameHello All,
For long time I have been getting a lot of requests for Support/Resistance Multi Time Frame script. Here ' Support Resistance Channels/Zones Multi Time Frame ' is in your service.
This script works if the Higher Time Frame you set is higher than the chart time frame. so the time frame in the options should be higher than the chart time frame.
The script checks total bars and highest/lowest in visible part of the chart and shows all S/R zones that fits according the highest/lowest in visible part. you can see screenshots below if it didn't make sense or if you didn't understand
Let see the options:
Higher Time Frame : the time frame that will be used to get Support/Resistance zones, should be higher than chart time frame
Pivot Period : is the number to find the Pivot Points on Higher time frame, these pivot points are used while calculating the S/R zones
Loopback Period : is the number of total bars on higher time frame which is used while finding pivot points
Maximum Channel Width % : is the percent for maximum width for each channel
Minimum Strength : each zone should contain at least a 1 or more pivot points, you set it here. (Open/High/Low/Close also are considered while calculating the strength)
Maximum Number of S/R : the number of maximum Support/Resistance zones. there can be less S/Rs than this number if it can not find enough S/Rs
Show S/R that fits the Chart : because of we use higher time frame, you should enable this option then the script shows only S/Rs that fits the current chart. if you disable this option, all S/R zones are shown and it may shrink the chart. also you may not see any S/R zone if you don't choose the higher time frame wisely ;)
Show S/R channels in a table : if you enable this option (by default it's enabled) then lower/upper bands of all S/R zones shown in a table ( even if it doesn't fit the chart ). you can change its location. zones are sorted according to their strengths. first one is the strongest.
and the other options is about colors and transparency.
Screenshots before and after zoom-out:
after zoom-out number of visible bars and highest/lowest change and it shows more S/R zones that fits the current chart!
if you see Support Resistance zone like below then you should decrease ' Maximum Channel Width ' or you should set higher time frame better:
You can change colors and transparency:
You can change Table location:
Alerts added :)
P.S. I haven't tested it so much, if you see any issue please drop a comment or send me message

Pivot Points High Low Multi Time FrameHello All,
There are built-in and published Pivot Point High Low indicators in Public Library but as far as I see none of them is for Higher Time frames. so I decided to write & publish this script. I hope it would be useful while trading or developing your own scripts. I also did this to use in one of my future projects (we will see it in a few weeks/months ;) ).
I tried to make all settings optional, so you can play with them as you wish.
P.S. There is no control mechanism if the chart time frame is lower than the time frame in the options. So you better set higher time frame in the options than the chart time frame.
Enjoy!
ZigZag WavesHello All,
I am here with a new idea and script, " Zigzag Waves ". This indicator creates 3 Zigzags with different lengths, keeps the lengths of each zigzag wave and calculates/draws average waves for each zigzag. optionally it can reset the wave when zigzag direction changes and new highest/lowest found. And optionally it draws Exponential Moving Average(EMA) of the sum of waves. This idea is very new and at the moment there is no optimization for the Zigzag Periods. Maybe we altogether can improve the idea and find the best zigzag periods for different symbols and time frames.
Using the options You can play with the periods, add/remove EMA, set its color and reset the waves on new Highest/Lowest. As far as I see resetting the waves on new Highest/Lowest may bring better results.
if we enable "Reset the waves on new Highest/Lowest":
Using different periods and EMA length:
P.S. if you have ideas to improve this script, drop a comment under the script please.

Gann FanHello All,
For long time I have been getting many requests about Gann Fan indicator. now we have linefill() function in Pine Language and I think it's right time to make Gann Fan Indicator. Many Thanks to Pine Team for adding many new features to the Pine Language!
How this indicator works:
- It calculates midline (1/1)
- By using midline it calculates other lines (1/2, 1/3, 1/4...etc)
- It calculates highest/lowest Pivot Points in last 280 bars.( by default it's 280 bars, you can change it and pivot period )
- It checks the location of highest/lowest Pivot Points
- After the calculation of the Gann Fan lines, it draws lines, puts Labels and paints the zones between the lines according to the colors set by the user
Long time ago I created a special algorithm for calculating the line with 45 degree and I used it for "1/1" line. Anybody who needs it can use this algorithm freely ;)
Options:
You can change following items;
- The colors
- Transparency. Possible values for transparency are from 0 (not transparent) to 100 (invisible)
- Line styles
- Loopback Period (by default it's 280)
- Pivot Period (by default it's 5)
- Enable/disable Labels
- Label location (by default it's 50
Tradingview Gann Fan page : The Gann Fan is a technical analysis tool created by WD Gann. The tool is comprised of 9 diagonal lines (extending indefinitely) designed to show different support and resistance levels on a chart. These angles -drawn from main tops and bottoms- divide time and price into proportionate parts and are often used to predict areas of support and resistance, key tops and bottoms and future price moves. Please note that the chart needs to be scaled properly to ensure the market has a square relationship....

Higher Time Frame Chart OverlayHello All,
This script gets OHLC values from any security and Higher/Same time frame you set, then creates the chart including last 10 candles. it shows Symbol name, Time Frame, Highest/Lowest level of last 10 candles and Close Price at the right side of the chart as well. Closing price text color changes by the real-time candle of the related symbol and time frame. The all this was made using the Tables in Pine and the chart location doesn't change even if you change the size of main chart window.
Almost everything can be change as you want. You can change/set:
- Colors of Body and Top/Bottom Wicks separately
- The Height of each Cell
- The Width of Body and Wicks
- The Background and Frame color
- Enable/disable Status Panel (if you disable Status Panel then only candle chart is shown)

Volume-Supported Linear Regression TrendHello Traders,
Linear Regression gives us some abilities to calculate the trend and if we combine it with volume then we may get very good results. Because if there is no volume support at up/downtrends then the trend may have a reversal soon. we also need to check the trend in different periods. With all this info, I developed Volume-Supported Linear Regression Trend script. The script checks linear regression of price and volume and then calculates trend direction and strength.
You have option to set Source, Short-Term Period and Long-Term Period. you can set them as you wish.
By default:
Close is used as "Source"
Short-Term Period is 20
Long-Term Period is 50
in following screenshot I tried to explain short term trend (for uptrend). Volume supports the trend? any volume pressure on trend? possible reversal? same idea while there is downtrend.
in following screenshot I tried to explain long term trend:
You can also check Positive/Negative Divergences to figure out possible reversals (to automate it, you can use Divergence for Many Indicators v4 , it has ability to check divergences on external indicators)

ZigZag Multi Time Frame with Fibonacci RetracementHello Traders,
This is ZigZag Multi Time Frame with Fibonacci Retracement script. It calculates the ZigZag using Higher Time Frame, draw Fibonacci Retracement lines and put labels accordingly. I already published Zigzag with Fibonacci Levels script but this one is Multi Time Frame and I didn't want to change/update it.
You can set ZigZag Period and Resolution as you wish. Zigzag is calculated using higher time frames (ex: 1day) so you better choose small numbers as Zigzag Period, such 2, 3 etc. you should choose higher time frame wisely, meaning that you should not set 1Day while chart resolution is 1min ;)
It draws Fibonacci levels between 0%-100% and If the price goes higher/lower than 100% level than the script draws Fibonacci Levels accordingly. This means it draws Fibonacci levels until this levels get higher/lower than the price.
"Show Zig Zag" is not enabled by default, you can enable it if you want to see ZigZag as well.
You have options to set Text Color, Line Color, Zigzag Up Color and Zigzag Down Color.
You can set the location of the Fibonnaci Levels -> Left or Right
You also have option to enable/disable following Fibonnaci Levels:
---> 0.236
---> 0.382
---> 0.500
---> 0.618
---> 0.786
I added "Colorful Fibonacci Levels" for fun. if you enable it then Fibonacci line colors will be different randomly on each move, see it for yourself :)
Some Screenshots:
if you enable "Show Zigzag Option":
how the script adjust levels automatically:
if you set Label Location as "Right":
if you enable "Colorful Fibonacci Levels" then Line colors will be changed on each move randomly ;)

Point and Figure Chart - LiveHello Traders,
This is "Point and Figure Chart (PnF)" script that run in separated window in real time. The separated PnF chart window is timeless, so no relation with the time on the chart. PnF chart consist of "X" and "O" columns. While "X" columns represents rising prices, "O" column represents a falling price. If you have no idea about what PnF charting is then you should search for "Point and Figure Charting" on the net and get some info before using this script.
Now lets talk about details. PnF Chart requires at least two variables to be set => Box size and Reversal. Box size represents the size of each X/O in PnF chart and the reversal is used to calculate new X/O or reversal. for example if currrent column is X column then for new "X", "box size * 1" move is needed and for new "O" column or reversal, "box size * revelsal" move is needed. in the script I use lines as X/O columns.
In the options you can set "Box Size Assingment Method". you have 3 options Traditional, ATR, Percentage . what are they?
Traditional: user-defined box size, means you can set the box size as you wish, using the option . if you use this option then you should set it accordingly.
ATR : that's dynamic box size scaling and on each columns it's calculated once, you can set length for ATR
Percentage: that's also dynamic box size scaling according to closing price when new column appeared. if you use this option then you should set it accordingly.
Reversal: The reversal is typically 3 but you can change it as you wish
"Change Bar Color by PnF Trend": if you enable this option then bar color changes by PnF columns, by default it's not enabled
"Change Column Color When Breakout Occurs": PnF color changes if Double Top/Bottom breakout accours. enabled by default and you can set the colors as you wish using the options
"Change Bar Color When Breakout Occurs": bar colors changed if Double Top/Bottom breakout accours. enabled by default and you can set the colors as you wish using the options
the script checks only Double Top/Bottom breakouts at the moment. there are many other breakouts such Triple/Quadruple, Ascending/Descending Triple Top/Bottom breakouts, Catapult etc.
Also the script shows new X/O level and reversal Levels in PnF window. An example:
If you enable "Change Bar Color by PnF Trend" option:
An example if you disable the option "Change Column Color When Breakout Occurs
You may want to see my another/older "Point and Point Chart" script as well. you can find it in my profile/published scripts and in the Public Library. I use same PnF calculation algorithm in both scripts.

Tweezers and Kangaroo TailHello Traders,
Here Tweezers and Kangaroo Tail script is in your service. The script searches for Tweezer / Kangaroo Tail candlestick patterns and shows them as T (Tweezer) and K (Kangaroo Tail). Thanks to RorschachT who game me the idea and some details while working on this script.
What are these candlestick patterns?
Tweezers :
- A tweezers pattern occurs when the highs/Lows of two candlesticks occur at almost exactly the same level
- Both candles must have wicks
- Bigger Wick / Smaller Wick rate should not be greater than 150% ( 150% by default and you have option to change it)
- First Candle must be highest/lowest for last 5 candles (5 by default and you have option to change it)
- The level of High for Top, Low for Bottom must be almost lower than 20% of the bigger wick of tweezer candles (20% by default and you have option to change it)
- The Candles can be right next to each other or apart but not more than 12 candles apart (12 by default and you have option to change it)
- You will see that Tweezers pattern occurs frequently
Kangaroo Tail:
- Looks almost like a Hammer or Inverted Hammer candle
- They have both its open and close in the top or bottom third of the candle
- There must be some space/room on the left of the kangaroo tail
- The open and close of the Kangaroo Tail candle must be inside the range of the previous candlestick
- The next candle should create a new high or new low
- You have several options to set details about the "Room" that should be on the left and also options for Wick/Body rates
- You can see example below
You have option to enable/disable any of these patterns.
as far as I have tested they are strong reversal patterns but none of the indicators or patterns may not be enough alone. so you should confirm the signals using other indicators or tools
If you need more information you can find a lot of info on the net ;)
Example: Tweezers - Aparted
Example: Kangaroo Tail - Bullish

RSI Multi Time FrameHello Traders,
Recently we got new features in Pine such Arrays of Lines, Labels and Strings. Thanks to the Pine Team! ( here )
So I decided to make new style of Multi Time Frame indicator and I used Array of Lines in this script. here it is, RSI Multi Time Frame script. it shows RSI for current time frame as it is and also it gets RSI for the Higher Time Frame and converts it and shows it as in time frame. as you can see, RSI for HTF moves to the right on each candle until higher time frame was completed.
You have color and line width options for both RSI, also if you want you can limit the number of bars to show higher time frame RSI by the option " Number of Bars for RSI HTF ", following example show RSI HTF for 100 bars.
Most of you know that old style Multi Time Frames indicators was like:
Hope you like this new Multi time frame style ;)

Moving Averages as Support Resistance MTFHello Traders!
As most of you know that Moving Averages with the lengths 50, 100, 150 and 200 are very important. We should use these this moving averages to figure out S/R levels, the possible reversals points, trend direction etc. we should check these moving averages on Higher Time Frames as well. for example if you look at the chart with 5mins time frame, you should also check it in 1hour and 4hour time frames to see to big picture and main trend. this is important as trend is your friend and you should not take positions against the trend.
I developed this script to show them clearly and make the chart understandable. 1 resistance line above the price and 1 support line below the price, it shows the moving average type, length, time frame and S/R level.
You have option to show SMA or EMA and to include/exclude current time frame, because you may want to see only MAs from higher time frames. you should set higher time frames accordingly.

Market ProfileHello All,
This is Market Profile script. "Market Profile is an intra-day charting technique (price vertical, time/activity horizontal) devised by J. Peter Steidlmayer. Steidlmayer was seeking a way to determine and to evaluate market value as it developed in the day time frame. The concept was to display price on a vertical axis against time on the horizontal, and the ensuing graphic generally is a bell shape--fatter at the middle prices, with activity trailing off and volume diminished at the extreme higher and lower prices." You better search it on the net for more information, you can find a lot of articles and books about the Market Profile.
You have option to see Value Area, All Channels or only POC line, you can set the colors as you wish.
Also you can choose the Higher Time Frame from the list or the script can choose the HTF for you automatically.
