2022 Electric F150Hello All, Ford has some had some wonderful catalysts with the Maverick, Bronco and the Mach-e that has taken this stock to new highs we havent seen since 2001, 20 years of new highs. I believe once this stock goes above 20.50 level we are going to see new stock highs. A 40 dollar stock I believe Ford will make new highs because of the announcement and production of the 20222 electirc f150. The electric vehicle sector has been getting a lot of attention. if Ford can pull off a smooth initial release of the vehicle with minimal hiccups and recalls we can see new highs. There looks like the stock may take an another dip before the rip. Will be starting position in the stock soon. If the stock can go back to 15 i will be 100% in the position.

Ford, with Jim Farley's help, breaks out of a 20 year base ! Just wanted to share my favorite story stock of 2021, so far . I am very much a short term trader , this I have learned about my personality over the last few years . My swing trades average about 1 to 4 weeks and I actively work at my day trading on a daily basis (currently focused on one single strat that I am trading exclusively for that ) . But, if I was to try holding something longer, Ford would be at the top of my list. I think that Ford offers an excellent opportunity with Farley at the helm and I am looking forward to seeing what his continued influence does for the company . At this time, I do not have a position in F because I am focusing on my TQQQ swing strat and day trading strat for next 6 months or so but... I think that Jim Farley is doing a great job. And based on the stocks technical moves and volumes, the investors seem to agree . Since Farley assumed the position of CEO in Oct 2020 , the stock price has soared a whopping 193% and just recently has broken out of a 20 year base . I would love to see Farley continue this trend and I think that the probabilities of this, based on his past performance and resume, are very supportive of this happening . I have recently started to research his history and he seems to have the experience and confidence from his 20 years with Toyota but just as important he seems to be an very likeable charismatic person too, which I think is a great attribute to help gain investors confidence and continue increasing Ford's market share/dominance . Some quick notes about Jim Farley , CEO of ford : 1) Joined Ford in 2007 as global head of marketing and communications from Toyota ( Assumed role of CEO as of Oct 1st 2020) 2) Farley is a “car guy.” He enjoys working on classic cars and racing on tracks. It’s something identified by analysts as a potential positive following an outsider such as Hackett restructuring the company. 3) He’s Chris Farley’s cousin , and who doesn't love Chris Farley right ? 4) Farley is apparently known as being intense and passionate, sometimes to the point of having a temper when things don’t go correctly. I think this is exactly what Ford needs to help them compete in a rapidly changing market. en.wikipedia.org(businessman) , link to a more detailed report on Farley available on wiki . A short summary of Farley's plans for Ford : A Three-phase transition to an electric future. ( Notes based from this report www.motortrend.com) Phase 1: Is early adoption, with a plan to start slowly and grow exponentially. It starts with the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach- ,an electric crossover with Mustang styling cues, on a new dedicated battery electric vehicle platform. *The report is a bit vague on phase one I felt , I think it can be summarized as a "slow start" to get things in motion. Phase 2: Is the transition period leading up to a kind of early majority adoption. Ford will enter this phase by offering battery electric versions of high-volume vehicles. This includes the 2021 Ford E transit commercial van , Electric Ford F- 150 "Lighting" by mid 2022. Battery cells will come from suppliers like SK Innovation of Korea, which is building a new plant in Georgia, but battery packs and motors are coming out of Ford plants in Michigan. During this phase, Ford plans on developing critical in-house expertise. Ford Ion Park, will begin to develop, test, and manufacture lithium-ion and solid-state battery cells. The $185 million facility should be up and running by the end of 2022, and the cells and manufacturing processes it validates will be used in Ford battery cell plants (expect to see in 2024) . Phase 3: Is high-volume EV assembly and sales with vertical integration of key components of the powertrain. There will be a decent portfolio of Ford electric vehicles to choose from—the next cycle of new vehicles will start in 2025, Farley says—and volumes to justify spending billions on Ford battery cell plants, software, and other key areas. Ford will apparently reach an all-electric lineup in Europe by 2030, but has made no such phase-out pledges for North America. In Summary : One thing that especially stands out to me, as person who is in the trades, is that Ford will seemingly be the first to offer electric cargo vans ( very good for trades to work out of ) . I have also heard quite a few contractors mention that they would love to own/lease an electric cargo van for work too. This seems to be something that Ford is going beat it's competitor's to the table with and I think that will give them an additional edge in the markets. I have checked these vans out and they look really nice , are even equipped with an onboard AC power of 2.4 KW . In addition to this being a great work van I imagine that there will be quite a few people wanting to use them for personal use and camping/travel related activities . I am quite impressed with Farley's recent actions and think that with his leadership Ford has the potential to becoming the automotive leader in electric vehicles and batteries going forward ... If I was to take a position in Ford , I would be doing so because of Farley , its more like we are buying him rather than Ford , that's a main point I want to point out here . So , if your interested in taking on a position ask yourself , do you believe in Jim Farley ? I certainly do and he is the centerpiece of Ford's story and how it develops .

Ford downside risk is in for the seasonFord on a weekly chart is a record breaking line of green candles. Then we zoom in on the daily. The push brought on by dividend or other forces possibly seems to be losing energy. The push up may be "transitory". Downside risk for the coming weeks is here from what we can see. Black arrows represent where I am looking for targets on my Puts and red arrow is if i am wrong where to exit. Just an idea at your own risk so risk management is always important. But, my bias is to the downside for now at least. Happy and profitable trading to all!
