Editas bear trapi am still long EDIT from 13$, 16$ and $21 holding my long term positions.
But need to switch from log to linear scale here to find the support, this current dump seems like a bear trap to shake out the weak hands who bought into the patent news hype. smart money has taken profit on double up causing the first sell off.
If the linear trendline is broken down we have to expect a longer correction phase with support at 18$, 16$ and 13$. Below 12.50 is very unlikely and would require a major fundamental change.
I expect smart money to buy back before the next coming media attention and that we are still in the first awareness phase.
my target over the next years is 63$ ~ 2b cap
The bearish scenario is that this is a b wave and we go for an impulsiv c down to 2-10$, but at 10$ we would have a company value of below 500m... Very unlikely because this would allow people to enter below the price that the venture capital like google ventures and bill gates entered EDIT. These firms would likely add up and defend their long position in this promising company.
EDIT off the bounce on low volume.Nice support level at $20

EDIT - downward channel breakout Long trade from $25.21 to 31.37EDIT had a lovely flag setup. It continued further up and started to consolidating within a downward channel. Now it seems broken out the channel formation. We think it has good upside potential from here.

After 5 wave impulse down and two month accumulation phase below IPO level sideways,
expect trend reversal into bull market, the downtrend channel got broken and tested on weekly timeframe.
The first human got crispered in china. USA will follow in 2017, I speculate on public awareness and solid growth, maybe hype.

lockup expiration playIt might be worth trailing for a short at some point into lockup expiration next month ..EPS -85 mil..I'm interested in how this range resolves here.. IPO was at $!6 now around $24.50 so theres room..11% float short...could be a little better but I've seen worse....would prefer 5% but whatever-would of been sweet at $43..position don't predict..imagine different scenarios..take the one that confirms..price is right and observe-react-change-grow-evolve=survive..do your own due diligence..Lockup expiration plays are scarce in summer..no Co. really wants to expire in the summer...but with this bull market..ipo's should come back in and provide op's down the road Also take a look at PTI...similar in a lot of ways..I'll be trailing it as well
