The fund is passively managed to target Canadian oil and gas companies. The fund considers companies listed in Canada that are identified as Contract Drilling, Integrated Oil, Oil & Gas Pipelines, Oil & Gas Production, Oil Refining/Marketing, and Oilfield Services/Equipment under the FactSet Industries classification. Companies are screened for minimum market-cap and liquidity requirements, then again ranked by market cap. The index is reconstituted and rebalanced quarterly, assigning each security equal weights.
