GOLD DAILY CHART MID/LONG TERM UPDATEHey Everyone, Please see the daily chart update we have been trading and tracking for a while now, to give you all an overall view of the range. Last week we confirmed we had ema5 lock above 2629 further confirming the previous candle body close opening 2686 We continued to buy dips all the way into 2686 completing this gap. This played out perfectly. We now have a candle body close above 2686 opening 2760 but will need ema5 lock to further confirm this, only as a along range/term gap. We will use our smaller timeframe analysis on the 1H and 4H chart to buy dips from the weighted Goldturns for 30 to 40 pips clean. Ranging markets are perfectly suited for this type of trading, instead of trying to hold longer positions and getting chopped up in the swings up and down in the range. We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up using our smaller timeframe ideas. Our long term bias is Bullish and therefore we look forward to drops like this, which allows us to continue to use our smaller timeframes to buy dips using our levels and setups. Closing my Selling order / #112 Profits rowAs discussed throughout my yesterday's session commentary: "My position: I have engaged Selling order on #2,680.80 / optimal Target remains #2,662.80 Support in extension. If #2,676.80 gets invalidated, development alone will add credence to Sellers." I have closed my re-Sell order (#2,680.80 - #2,657.80) on a fine #23-point run extending my results range to #112 Profits and #22 Stop-loss hits regarding December #2023 - January #2025 fractal. Technical analysis: Gold is constantly under heavy Buying pressure (Buying every dip) as the Fundamental side is preserved and is Buying every dip and rejecting every downside attempt even though DX is Trading above #52-week High's. Now this is largely Volatile territory on the Hourly 4 chart. Typically the Ascending Channel is a pattern of trend continuation, marking a Bottom and turning Bullish on Short-term even though that Daily chart's #2,682.80 first Resistance got invalidated. However the larger time-frame of Weekly chart (#1W) remains Bearish, so again I need to pay attention of potential reversal points and Selling the Top as High (and safely) as I can. Gold remains Technically Bearish but Fundamental side prevails and the result is those Bull reversal candles which are visible on the charts. Strong Resistance zone is seen Trading at #2,678.80 - #2,682.80 while first Support zone is priced at #2,657.80 - #2,662.80, which means as long as Support is intact, there are more probabilities for the uptrend. It is important to note that below #2,657.80, there is only #2,652.80 benchmark to hold Gold from testing #2,642.80 however again I need to keep in mind that on these Fundamentally driven sessions, Gold can go as far as pressure pushes it so I will not try to Sell aggressively current Buying bias, only if strong Support gets invalidated and with tight Stop's. My position: Since I am Highly satisfied with NFP and yesterday's session Profits, I will Trade the break-out and remain on sidelines monitoring the Price-action.

Gold is ready to go upHi traders, Last week XAUUSD did not go lower from the Daily FVG. It only made a correction to the 23.6 fib retracement and it's in a wave 4. All of this made me adjust the wavecount and the pattern. I think it made a Triangle (wave 4) which is now finished and price made the next impulsive wave for wave 5. So if this is correct, then next week we could see a correction down and more upside. Let's see what price does and react. Trade idea: Wait for a small correction down, a change in orderflow to bullish on a lower timeframe and trade longs. Gold: pricing uncertaintyThe price of gold for one more time missed its negative correlation with the US Dollar and moved toward the higher grounds. During the previous year such moves were strongly influenced by the geopolitical instability, however, as analysts are noting, this time it was induced by the uncertainty related to the new US Administration. Even the better than expected US jobs data and further strengthening of the US Dollar could not diminish the investors' fear coming from uncertainty of the moves which the new US Administration will impose after stepping on the scene on January 28th. This is how a need for a safe-haven metal was supported. The price of gold started the previous week around the $2,6K support line, and moved further toward the higher grounds, until the highest weekly level at $2.690 reached on Friday. The RSI also took the up trend, moving currently around the level of 60. This is indication of a higher probability that the price of gold could move further higher, until the clear overbought level is reached. The moving average of 50 days continues to diverge toward the MA200, indicating a potential for a cross in the future period. It is a well known fact that the market does not like uncertainty. The price of gold could be pushed further to the higher grounds in the coming period, as long as investors feel the urge for safe-haven assets. The RSI shows a potential for higher grounds until the clear overbought side is reached. On a downside, the level of $2.650 could be shortly tested, however, at this point on charts, there is no indication that the price of gold could return back toward the $2.6K support line in the week ahead.
