Sadly coinbase is loosely tied 2 bitcoins performance. I would say the impact is not that great as it's probably just small investors who gets spooked easily and only the ones who are doing day trades or short-term trading. This has no effect on long-term bag holders. The consensus at the moment is the cryptocurrency will probably enter it's winter period early...
