NASDAQ:IAC   IAC Inc.
No rising wedges in the yearly chart.

Bull flags often form after price has doubled, or a 90% increase in price as a rule..and the flag formation a corrective move down which is to be expected after a large move up. There are smaller flags as well. These can be hard to get compfy with when the pole is so long, as many feel as if the move is over due to the gains already made. A high flag often has a better break out, as well as a tight flag, with not a lot of space between the candles.
Flags can fail, both bull and bear flags.
If a flag does break up and shows weakness in the first week after break out, consider selling. Throwbacks are common.
Pennants differ and appear as wedge shaped structures that tilt against the trend, but they also have a pole.

The straighter and the longer the pole, the better. This one has a slope to the pole. Sometimes the straight poles scare me tho..lol..as it looks parabolic. Flags are jusually formed in a few days to a few weeks. If it drags on too long, question whether it is a flag you are dealing with. The velocity of buying during pole formation, will often carry over to the breakout direction, whether it breaks up or down. These patterns can break down just as any other pattern can fail.

The trendlines should be nearly parallel and slope against the trend. They should not have an irregular border. The pole must be long enough to support the flag, so if the flag goes on for eons (Months), it may no longer be a flag. Volume may recede during formation of the actual flag. Volume should increase when a break out occurs.

Not to long entry level as of yet

No recommendation

You can get a ball park guesstimate of where price may go by using the magnet and moving the pole to C. May be a crude measuring tool..lol..but it does help you get an idea on whether it is worth trading
