CAN SHORT TERM SIDEWAYS PRICE ACTION BE FORECASTED?

FX_IDC:XAUUSD   Gold Spot / U.S. Dollar
Introduction - This is BFS Trend Engine expectations for the next four days. It looks stupid. But is it useful?

Details - So the last three drafts after hitting 2390 were trash. First for a move to 2430, then triple top, then a minor binary outcome, all of them trash. Its rare for BFS Trend Engine to be so bad. In the past, when this has happened, it was indicative of an incoming "strong sideways trend". Based on 360 lines of MAs and LRCs, this is the call for the rollover over irregular top. Rollover because it is rolling over, irregular because that's the way it is. For what it's worth, THIS IS THE TOUGHEST CALL TO MAKE IN PRICE FORECASTING.
Comment:
5/17, 7:58 AM ET, 2389.96
1) from Trend Engine's perspective
2) there's only one trade to day
3) short now, target 2367, but TP 71
4) if 67 hits, trend engine says to go long but not to sell today
5) to sell Monday, Tuesday, or Wed whichever gives you 2385 first
6) bc price should cross over 2385 at least 7 times between now and 5/23

c) the one issue is what pattern will it take
d) let's see at 11:00
e) there's one other pattern but it's not obvious at all
f) have to disprove this first in 90 minutes
Comment:
9:01 AM ET 95.5 is the signal for a different pattern
a) which is the mirror image of this patter at the start
b) how it ends no idea:

Comment:
11) continuing in chart above, so this move push is the inverse of yellow route
12) that descending dashed line, is the channel with check down at 2248
13) making this move doesn't change the check down size for 5/30
14) so instead of 2248, it would be closer to 2290-2300
