Diversify Your Crypto InvestmentsCryptocurrency markets are known for their volatility, where prices can rise and fall dramatically within a short period. To manage the risks and capitalize on potential gains, diversifying your cryptocurrency portfolio is crucial. Just as in traditional investing, spreading your investments across different crypto assets helps reduce exposure to extreme price movements in any single asset and ensures you can benefit from the growth of various sectors within the market.
In this idea, we’ll explore the concept of crypto diversification, the importance of spreading risk, and a recommended percentage allocation for building a balanced portfolio across Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins, and meme coins.
Why Crypto Diversification Matters
Risk Management: Cryptocurrencies are notoriously volatile. By diversifying, you reduce the risk of one asset dramatically impacting your portfolio. If one cryptocurrency underperforms or crashes, others might perform well enough to offset potential losses.
Exposure to Different Technologies: The cryptocurrency space is vast, with Bitcoin leading as a store of value, Ethereum as a smart contract platform, and altcoins offering innovations in areas like decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, and blockchain scalability. Diversification allows you to participate in the growth of these different technologies.
Hedge Against Market Swings: Different cryptocurrencies may react to market conditions in various ways. For example, during market corrections, Bitcoin and Ethereum might drop less sharply than smaller altcoins or meme coins. A diversified portfolio allows you to hedge against such market swings.
Suggested Crypto Portfolio Diversification
When it comes to diversifying your crypto portfolio, a strategic approach can help you balance between established coins, emerging altcoins, and more speculative assets. Here’s an example of a diversified crypto portfolio with percentage allocations:
1. 50% Bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin is often referred to as "digital gold" and is considered the most stable and established cryptocurrency. As the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, it has the least volatility compared to altcoins and meme coins. A 50% allocation to Bitcoin provides a solid foundation for your portfolio, acting as a safer hedge in the volatile world of crypto.
2. 20% Ethereum (ETH)
Ethereum is the second-largest cryptocurrency and the leading platform for decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, and DeFi protocols. With its growing ecosystem and the shift to Ethereum 2.0 (which promises greater scalability), Ethereum offers significant growth potential while maintaining more stability than smaller altcoins. A 20% allocation in Ethereum allows you to participate in the innovation and expansion of decentralized finance and other blockchain applications.
3. 25% Altcoins:
Altcoins are any cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin, many of which offer unique technological innovations. For this part of the portfolio, you could include assets such as SOL, FET, INJ, UNI, LINK, etc.
Allocating 25% of your portfolio to altcoins offers exposure to innovative technologies with potentially high returns, though they come with higher risks compared to Bitcoin or Ethereum.
4. 5% Meme Coins (DOGE, SHIB, etc.)
Meme coins like Dogecoin (DOGE) or Shiba Inu (SHIB) are speculative assets that often gain value due to community support, social media hype, or celebrity endorsements. They are extremely volatile, with the potential for short-term gains but also significant risks. Keeping only 5% of your portfolio in meme coins ensures you don’t overexpose yourself to their high volatility, while still allowing you to benefit if these coins surge in value.
Example of a Diversified Crypto Portfolio Allocation
Let’s assume you have $10,000 to invest in cryptocurrencies. Here's how you might allocate your funds based on the diversification strategy above:
$5,000 in Bitcoin (50%)
$2,000 in Ethereum (20%)
$2,500 in Altcoins (25%)
$500 in Meme Coins (5%)
This allocation offers a balanced approach, giving you exposure to the relative safety of Bitcoin and Ethereum while also allowing you to take advantage of the potential high growth from altcoins and meme coins.
Why This Allocation Strategy Works
- Stability with Growth Potential: With 50% allocated to Bitcoin and 20% to Ethereum, you are investing in two of the most established and widely adopted cryptocurrencies. These are often seen as the "safer" options in the crypto world, and their long-term potential is generally considered strong.
- Exposure to Innovation: The 25% allocation to altcoins provides exposure to emerging sectors like DeFi, AI, and blockchain interoperability. While altcoins tend to be more volatile, they offer significant growth potential if their underlying technologies gain widespread adoption.
- High-Risk, High-Reward: The 5% allocation to meme coins adds a speculative aspect to the portfolio. Meme coins have a history of spiking in value, often due to online hype. Although risky, keeping a small portion of your portfolio in these assets can offer the opportunity for outsized gains while limiting your risk.
Key Tips for Managing a Diversified Crypto Portfolio
- Rebalance Regularly: The crypto market is highly volatile, and the value of different assets can fluctuate dramatically. Periodically rebalance your portfolio to ensure that your allocations remain aligned with your goals. For example, if the value of your meme coins spikes, they might occupy a larger percentage of your portfolio than desired. Rebalancing ensures that you take profits and stick to your original diversification strategy.
- Do Your Own Research (DYOR): While diversification helps mitigate risk, it's essential to research the coins you're investing in. Don’t blindly invest in an asset just because it’s trending. Understand the project, its use case, the team behind it, and its long-term potential.
- Avoid Over-Diversification: While diversification is important, spreading your investments too thin can dilute your returns. Focus on quality projects rather than trying to invest in every available cryptocurrency.
- Have a Long-Term Mindset: The crypto market can be volatile in the short term, but having a long-term mindset is critical for success. Don’t panic during market dips—if you have a well-diversified portfolio, you’re better positioned to ride out the volatility and potentially benefit from long-term growth.
Diversifying your cryptocurrency portfolio is a smart strategy for managing risk and taking advantage of the crypto market's various opportunities. A balanced allocation—such as 50% Bitcoin, 20% Ethereum, 25% altcoins, and 5% meme coins—helps you mitigate the risks of volatility while allowing you to participate in the growth of different sectors.

The key to starting a trade is support and resistance points
Hello, traders.
If you "Follow", you can always get new information quickly.
Please also click "Boost".
Have a nice day today.
-------------------------------------
As you study candles, you will learn about trend reversal sections.
Therefore, rather than learning the shapes or patterns of candles, when you study them, you will be able to see the support and resistance points and sections made up of the selling area and trend reversal sections in a big picture.
Therefore, rather than trying to memorize the shapes or arrangements of candles, it is important to see whether support and resistance points and sections are formed when such shapes, arrangements, and patterns appear.
The same goes for other studies related to charts.
-
As you study candles, you will find that what you have studied appears in the sections where candles are gathered.
These areas are drawn as horizontal lines to indicate support and resistance points.
However, objective information is needed to conduct trading on the horizontal lines drawn like this.
Otherwise, even the support and resistance points you drew will likely become useless lines if you conduct barrack trading because you don't trust them.
Be careful because your psychological state will interfere with analyzing the chart.
-
The easiest way to obtain this objective information is the Heikin Ashi chart and the Renko chart.
The Heikin Ashi chart and the Renko chart help you check the trend because they show fewer fakes and sweeps.
(Heikin Ashi chart)
(Renko chart)
Among these, you can immediately see that the Renko chart is a bit easier to find support and resistance points.
-
You can think of the points near the end of the blocks on the Renko chart as having strong support and resistance points.
Therefore, among the horizontal lines drawn on the chart above, the 2800.0 and 4000.0 points are the end points of three blocks, so they can be seen as strong support and resistance points.
If you change the Renko chart to a regular candle chart, you can clearly see that it will form support and resistance points or sections.
However, since the Renko chart changes the price in blocks, it is difficult to trade at this point.
Therefore, the Heikin Ashi chart or Renko chart is good to use when analyzing the chart, but it is difficult to trade.
-
To compensate for this, we created a horizontal line at the price position using indicators (StochRSI, OBV, CCI, RSI) that have been used for a long time.
The horizontal line connected to the current candle position plays the role of the current support and resistance point.
And, since the longer the horizontal line, the stronger the support and resistance role, you can see that it plays the role of support and resistance even if it is not connected to the current candle.
-
The support and resistance points drawn on the Heikin Ashi chart or Renko chart are difficult to use for trading, but you can easily check the support and resistance section by looking at only the 1D chart.
However, in order to display support and resistance points with a general candle chart, support and resistance points must be displayed on the 1M, 1W, and 1D charts.
And, the order of charts with strong support and resistance is 1M > 1W > 1D charts.
-
When you look at the 1M, 1W, and 1D charts using the HA-MS indicator, horizontal lines like the above are displayed.
You can display them by changing the line type or line thickness to make them easier to see and then proceed with trading.
----------------------------------------------------------------
The above content corresponds to the method of finding support and resistance points included in general chart-related books.
Of course, it is different from the explanation in the chart-related book, but I explained how to use indicators to more clearly indicate support and resistance points.
-
Even if you trade with the support and resistance points above, it will not work well when you actually trade.
This is because you are not familiar with the most important trading strategy in trading.
In conclusion, the most important thing is to create a trading strategy, rather than finding the support and resistance points explained above, looking at the trend line, or looking at indicators.
However, it is very difficult to create a trading strategy that fits your investment style from the beginning.
So, you should practice creating a trading strategy that suits you while trading based on the information of the objective chart.
In order to trade, you need to decide on the following three things:
1. Investment period
2. Investment size
3. Trading method and profit realization method
The above three things must be determined.
No. 1 and 2 are determined according to your investment style.
Therefore, it is recommended not to change No. 1 and 2 after you start trading.
3. Based on the information of the actual chart, the buy section, sell section, and stop loss point are determined.
In addition, the profit realization method can be determined according to the investment period.
The profit realization method is:
1. How to get cash profit
2. How to increase the coin (token) corresponding to the profit
There are methods 1 and 2 above.
-
In order to create a trading strategy, it is important to display all the information you want on the chart before starting the transaction.
If you do not, and then display lines on the chart after starting the transaction, psychological factors will be added and displayed, so the possibility of not trusting the lines drawn after starting the transaction increases.
To prevent this, it does not matter if you use the indicator added to the HA-MS indicator.
The reason is because it is objective information.
You should increase profits or reduce losses by adjusting the investment ratio while conducting the transaction using this objective information.
-
Have a good time.
Thank you.

Is your ETH and SOL working for you !?The crypto market never sleeps which means leaving your holdings stagnant could mean missing out on significant opportunities.
So it’s time to ask yourself:
Are your assets maximizing their potential, or are they just gathering virtual dust?
You wouldn’t leave all your money in a low interest savings account, so why do it with your crypto?
The idea is to put your investments to work, so they keep earning returns without you lifting a finger. I’ll walk you through exactly how to read it and use it to your advantage.
But that’s just the beginning, we’ll also be covering:
-Yield strategies: A breakdown of the strategies we use to generate yield.
-Pros and cons: The advantages and drawbacks of each strategy.
Not sure what options are best for you?
Are you letting your capital sit idle?
Worried about security risks?
This analysis is about to change that .I’ll show you how to maximize your returns and crush those security fears, so you can confidently put your assets to work
Let's dive right in and kick things off with the ‘crowd favorite’ of yield strategies: staking
Staking is exclusive to Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchains and their associated tokens.
Meaning you cannot gain staking yield from Bitcoin, for example, because it is a Proof of Work (PoW) blockchain. by staking your tokens like CRYPTOCAP:ETH or CRYPTOCAP:SOL , you receive a portion of newly minted tokens, effectively earning yield while playing a vital role in securing the network.
If you’re not staking, you could be missing out on significant gains, with potential returns ranging from 3% to 18% APY. that’s why many investors choose to stake their assets rather than let them sit idle
Staking has become a widely adopted strategy, with staking ratios (amount staked vs. unstaked) sitting between 20% and 80% on most POS blockchains In fact, a staggering $520 billion is currently staked across the top PoS blockchains, underscoring its popularity as a method for generating additional income.
Assuming an average 5% reward rate, that equates to $25 billion in staking rewards. That’s massive.
Despite the appeal of earning extra income through staking, becoming a solo staker can be technically challenging which is why staking providers like Lido, Rocket Pool, and Jito have emerged.
They handle network validation for the rest of us, while maximizing our staking yield.
Let’s break down the pros and cons of using a staking provider:
Pros:
✅ Security and efficiency: Our tokens are put to work securely and efficiently, contributing to the network’s security without us having to manage it all ourselves.
✅ Maximized rewards: We earn the majority of staking rewards without needing to handle the technical complexities, making it a hassle-free way to generate income.
✅ Liquidity retention: We receive liquid tokens as proof of our staked assets, allowing us to stay flexible and use them in other DeFi opportunities.
Cons:
❌ Fees: These providers typically charge a fee ranging from 8% to 25% for their validation services, which can slightly reduce your overall yield.
❌ Smart contract risks: There are inherent risks associated with smart contracts, such as bugs and/or vulnerabilities, that could potentially impact your staked assets.
By weighing these pros and cons, you can decide whether outsourcing your staking through liquid staking providers is the right strategy for you.
Ok, so if that’s the case how do we go about choosing the right liquid staking provider?
Here are some key factors to consider when selecting a provider:
1/ Reputation and security
Track record: Look for providers with a solid track record and a strong reputation in the DeFi space.
Security measures: Ensure the provider employs robust security measures, such as smart contract audits.
2/ Total volume locked
TVL: Check how much liquidity your chosen provider has attracted.
TVL is a quick and effective measure of the broader market's trust in a provider, as it reflects the total amount of assets currently staked or locked in their protocol, valued in dollars.
Feel free to use DefiLlama, which ranks all liquid staking providers by TVL.
Simply select the blockchain you’re interested in, and you’ll see the top players in the space, giving you a clear view of where the most assets are being staked and which providers are leading the market.
3/ Yield rates
Competitive yields: Compare the staking yields offered by different providers. While higher yields are attractive, they should not come at the expense of security or reliability.
Fee structure: Be aware of the fee structure. Liquid staking providers typically charge a small fee for their services, which can impact your overall returns.
4/ Liquidity and flexibility
Liquid staking tokens (LSTs): Check if the liquid tokens issued by the provider are widely accepted across DeFi platforms and have enough liquidity. The more integration and liquidity these tokens have, the better.
Redemption options: Some providers offer instant or flexible redemption options for your staked tokens, which can be crucial if you need quick access to your assets.
5/ Decentralization and governance
Decentralization: Providers that are more decentralized tend to be more resilient to risks such as regulatory actions or central points of failure.
Governance participation: Some providers offer governance rights with their tokens, allowing you to have a say in the protocol’s future direction. This can be an added benefit for those interested in being more involved in the ecosystem.
6/ Community and support
Active Community: A strong, active community can be a good indicator of a provider’s health and future prospects. Engage with the community to gauge the level of transparency and support.
so while you trading and trying to maximize your gains Its good to stake some of your HODL bag as well
How to measure a true range in any asset!Hello to everyone familiar with ICT concepts!
If you already understand breakers, order blocks, and the principles of price premiums and discounts, you're in the right place.
I’m excited to share some insights with you, using the FOREXCOM:EURUSD
chart from August 20th, 2024.
One challenge I've always faced is accurately measuring the true range. It often feels like price moves towards balance, finding equilibrium before moving away again. ICT's teachings on this topic can sometimes be a bit vague, especially when it comes to the details of whether to measure wicks or focus solely on candlestick bodies. However, I’ve recently made a breakthrough and discovered the key to accurately measuring a true range!
This knowledge aligns with the idea of balances, but it’s crucial to understand that when one algorithm meets another, neither has the power to deviate far from the current price. But that's not what we need to focus on.
What truly matters is identifying when the price is moving away from its current state. This method works exceptionally well during trending markets, like we’ve seen recently with #EURUSD, #GBPUSD, and other forex pairs. It’s also effective in commodities like Gold, indices such as #NQ, #YM, #ES, and even in the crypto markets!
Take yesterday's trend in EURUSD, for example. We saw a significant 5-15 minute trend where the price perfectly retraced to its 50% level. But how did I know where to start measuring?
This time, I used a breaker from a different structure on the 15-minute chart to identify the key level. The answer lies in understanding breakers, order blocks, and supporting structures.
If this topic resonates with you, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Let’s dive deeper together—there’s so much more to explore. Feel free to share your insights or reach out if you’re curious about how to apply these concepts more effectively

How to Get into an Entry after the setup is passedIn the world of investing, it is not uncommon to come across a missed trade setup that tempts investors to make impulsive decisions. However, it is important to remain disciplined and avoid falling into the trap of #FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). For instance, if an investor misses a trade setup on Ethereum ( CRYPTOCAP:ETH ), instead of rushing in with a full position, a more prudent approach would be to enter with half the intended position. This allows the investor to participate in the trade while minimizing the risk of committing too much capital at once.
Once the initial entry is made, it is crucial to implement a strategy known as Dollar Cost Averaging (#DCA). This involves gradually increasing the position size by buying more ETH over time. By using DCA, investors can mitigate the impact of short-term market volatility and avoid making rash decisions based solely on emotions.
To effectively implement DCA, it is important to maintain the original stop loss level. This means that even if the price of ETH decreases after the initial entry, the stop loss order should remain at the predetermined level. By sticking to this plan, investors can ensure that their risk management strategy remains intact and that they do not expose themselves to unnecessary losses.
In summary, when faced with a missed trade setup on ETH, it is crucial to resist the urge to FOMO in with a full position. Instead, entering with half the intended position and utilizing Dollar Cost Averaging can provide a more measured and disciplined approach. By maintaining the original stop loss level throughout the process, investors can enhance their risk management and increase their chances of success in the long run.

Trade Smart: 7 Steps to Building a Resilient Trading PlanIn the fast-paced world of trading, success is not just about seizing opportunities; it’s about having a plan to navigate the unpredictable seas of the financial markets. A well-crafted trading plan is a compass that guides you, providing direction, discipline, and a strategy to weather the storms. Today, we’ll break down seven essential steps to building a trading plan that not only suits your financial goals but also stands the test of dynamic market conditions.
Embarking on the journey of trading without a plan is akin to setting sail without navigation. A trading plan is your blueprint for success, offering a structured approach to decision-making and risk management. It’s not just for professionals; every trader, regardless of experience, needs a smart trading plan.
Step 1: Define Your Trading Goals
Begin your journey by defining clear and achievable trading goals. Whether you’re looking for short-term gains or long-term wealth creation, having tangible objectives keeps you focused. Your goals should reflect your financial aspirations, considering factors like the desired return on investment and the time frame in which you aim to achieve it.
In setting these goals, it’s essential to consider the S.M.A.R.T. criteria: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. This ensures that your goals are not vague aspirations but concrete targets that guide your trading activities.
Step 2: Assess Your Risk Tolerance
Understanding your risk tolerance is crucial in the world of trading. It’s not just about how much money you can afford to lose but also about your emotional resilience. Assess your risk tolerance objectively, using tools and questionnaires available online. This self-awareness will shape your risk management strategy.
To delve deeper into risk management, consider establishing a risk-reward ratio. This ratio helps you assess whether the potential reward justifies the risk you’re taking on a particular trade. It’s a critical element in ensuring that your trades are not only more likely to be profitable, but also align with your risk tolerance.
Step 3: Choose Your Trading Style
Trading styles vary, and what works for one may not suit another. Are you inclined towards the adrenaline of day trading, the patience of swing trading, or the strategic moves of position trading? Your trading style should align with your personality, time availability, and market conditions.
When choosing your trading style, it’s vital to consider your time commitment. Day trading, for example, requires more immediate attention, while position trading allows for a more relaxed approach. Your chosen style should not only resonate with your personality but also fit seamlessly into your daily routine.
Step 4: Develop a Robust Risk Management Strategy
Risk management is the backbone of any successful trading plan. Determine how much of your capital you’re willing to risk on a single trade and set stop-loss orders accordingly. It is crucial to practice proper position sizing. Avoid putting all your money on a single trade. A robust risk management strategy ensures you live to trade another day.
Another crucial aspect of risk management is diversification. Even with a well-defined risk tolerance, putting all your capital into one asset class or market exposes you to unnecessary risk. Diversifying your investments across different instruments and markets spreads risk effectively, providing a more stable foundation for your trading activities.
Step 5: Select Your Trading Instruments and Markets
The financial markets offer a plethora of instruments, from stocks and forex to commodities. Choose instruments that resonate with your expertise and interests. Consider diversification to spread risk effectively across different markets. Your chosen instruments should align with your overall trading goals.
In the process of selecting your instruments and markets, it’s beneficial to conduct thorough research. Understand the factors influencing each market, the macroeconomic conditions affecting specific industries, and the geopolitical events that might impact your chosen instruments. This knowledge enhances your ability to maintain discipline in implementing your trading plan.
Step 6: Create a Trading System
A trading system provides structure to your approach. Define entry and exit signals, identify key indicators, and set your preferred timeframes. A systematic and back-tested trading system provides a proven framework for making trade decisions, reducing the impact of emotional biases.
Building a trading system involves choosing technical indicators that align with your trading style and goals Whether it’s moving averages, Bollinger Bands, or the Relative Strength Index (RSI), each indicator brings a unique perspective to market analysis. Understanding how to integrate these indicators into your system enhances your ability to identify profitable trading opportunities.
Step 7: Regularly Review and Adjust Your Trading Plan
The financial markets are dynamic, and so should your trading plan. Regularly review your trading plan and make adjustments based on changing market conditions, personal experiences, and evolving goals. A flexible plan allows you to adapt to the ever-shifting landscape of the financial markets.
In the process of reviewing and adjusting your trading plan, it’s essential to keep a trading journal. Documenting your trades, the rationale behind each decision, and the outcome provides valuable insights. It allows you to identify patterns in your trading behavior, strengths to leverage, and weaknesses to address. A trading journal is a practical tool for continuous improvement that is underutilized by many traders.
Conclusion
Crafting a trading plan is not a one-time activity but an ongoing process. It’s a living document that evolves with you as a trader. Remember, trading is not just about making money today; it’s about sustaining and growing your wealth over time. By following these seven steps, you’re not just building a trading plan; you’re building a foundation for long-term success.
Trade smart, trade confidently, and let your well-structured plan be your guiding star in the vast universe that is today's market. Happy Trading!
Trading Lesson 👨💻#1 - Never buy At the peak high. Not worth it I tell you.
Never buy at the peak high.
Always buy at the peak low.
When ever you see a peak in the day of trading and you had a major rise in price due to things such as rallies or market seasonal up trends, or 🐳 it's moving up and you don't want to miss it. However; you buy in on the rush up-word believing it's safe to assume things will be greater tomorrow, so you wait to see this awesome rally to the top to make it rich.
The day closes and the reopens, with a rise and then sudden fall in the crypto market - all that hype only to be disappointed when you notice somethings off; your funds are 💸floating away in mere moments. So naturally you panic believing that you are in a complete crash - and assume it's the fault of the stock you purchased, but more over it was the fault of the bad call - with bad timing, so you panic sell thinking it will only get worse, and in some cases it does get worse but in others cases that sell you just made would be a mistake in judgement as the price goes back up from where you sold leaving you behind with the lost funds to ponder over.
This is what I call "fools gold"
Never buy at the peak on after a closing day.
reason being you may on the next day after a rally up-word, you notice the price move up higher for like a moment prompting you to buy, thinking that the rally is still going, however; not realizing that was the last call before the fall.
So the best thing to do in these type of situations is to:
_______________________
Don't Buy In
Safer to study your target market before you buy and wait for the closing day, so that it can either adjust the price to where it really is vs where it currently is. if it drops wait till the closing day again until you feel you have the best price to turn a profit. Note - pay attention for market trends it could be going up which is good or falling down which is still good for you because you didn't lose any money, so best to study before you buy on a hype.
_______________________
Hold
Wait until the next closing day to see where it might lead - this will keep your shares you already purchased and if you need to add more funds to regain what you lost when the price is lower than expected, it will likely turn what was a lost to a gain when the price returns to where you originally purchased.
_______________________
Sell
The worse thing you can do is Sell unless you can catch the drop in price before it takes too much profit to recover from, you will likely try again losing more money and again, and again, and again - creating what is known as panic buying and selling, if you had deep pockets it might cause the market to completely drop based off the factor of you panic selling, no need to do so you have a day to find out where the market for your crypto is headed before you sell, so best to work fast or lose more funds wasting time.
Focus and don't risk what you are not willing to lose, and for your own sake if you are a panic seller, never day trade, you'll lose more money that way.
_______________________
Best Tools to use
Notice the market trends on the charts before you buy, was it going up throughout a one month process if so then it's a likelihood it's in a seasonal high, it's sometimes hard to tell if it's moving up or down just by looking at charts, so you will definitely need proper indicators to help identify your next move.
Indicators like:
Volume to price
or
trend activity
Not chart savvy, then find a predictor of your current crypto you purchased.
Look for people on places like trading view who have the tools and or knowledge to tell you the trading trends - note not all of them are accurate - not even some websites that offer predictions for your favorite stock or crypto are accurate either, they are usually 40% accurate 60% inaccurate and 99% bias.
That's just my opinion - however; they can not predict Rallies - Whaling activity - or - the entire stock market fallout/rise - anything can happen so be prepared it can take months if not years to recover or it could take a few weeks if you know what the future may bring.
But remember:
Don't try to buy in at the tip of a peak.
It's guaranteed to drop instantly the next trading day.
Hope this helps.
Happy trading.

Ichimoku Cloud Demystified: A Comprehensive Deep DiveHello TradingView Community, it’s Ben with LeafAlgo! Today we will discuss one of my favorite indicators, the Ichimoku Cloud. The Ichimoku is a versatile trading tool that has captivated traders with its unique visual representation and powerful insights. We will dive deep into understanding the Ichimoku Cloud, explore its history, discuss its parts, highlight real-life examples, and address potential pitfalls. By the end of this article, we believe you will know how to leverage the Ichimoku Cloud effectively in your trading endeavors. Let’s dive in!
Origin of The Ichimoku Cloud
The Ichimoku Cloud, also known as Ichimoku Kinko Hyo, was developed by Goichi Hosoda in the late 1930s but was not published until later in the 1960s. Its name translates to "one glance equilibrium chart," reflecting its ability to provide a holistic view of market dynamics with a single glance. Over time the Ichimoku Cloud has become a popular trading tool among new and seasoned traders.
Components of The Ichimoku Cloud
Some traders believe the Ichimoku cloud is a complex jumble of lines with no rhyme or reason, but this is not necessarily true. The best way to understand the Ichimoku cloud is to break it down into its respective parts. Each element contributes to the overall interpretation of price action, trend direction, support and resistance levels, and potential entry and exit points.
The Ichimoku Cloud has five components: Tenkan-sen, Kijun-sen, Senkou Span A and B, and Chikou Span.
The Tenkan-sen and Kijun-sen, often called the Conversion Line and Base Line, respectively, are essential in identifying trend direction and momentum. Below we can see a bullish signal happens when the Tenkan-sen crosses above the Kijun-sen. Conversely, a bearish signal occurs when the Tenkan-sen crosses below the Kijun-sen. Typical length inputs for the Tenkan-sen and Kijun-sen are 9 and 26.
The Senkou Span A and B form the cloud or "Kumo." These components serve as dynamic support and resistance levels, with Senkou Span A calculated as the average of the Conversion Line and Base Line and Senkou Span B representing the midpoint of the highest high and lowest low over a specified period, typically 52. The cloud's thickness and color provide visual cues for potential market strength and volatility.
The Chikou Span, or the Lagging Span, is the current closing price plotted 26 periods back on the chart. It helps traders gauge the relationship between the current price and historical price action, providing insights into potential trend reversals or continuation.
Putting the parts together gives us a complete picture of the Ichimoku Cloud. Each aspect contributes to the one-glance equilibrium theory, giving traders a more holistic view of price action.
Applying the Ichimoku Cloud in Trading
We now better understand all parts of the Ichimoku cloud, but that means little if we don’t understand how it can be utilized in trading. Let's explore examples that demonstrate the practical application of the Ichimoku Cloud:
Example 1: Trend Following
In an uptrend, we would look for the Tenkan-sen to cross above the Kijun-sen while the price remains above the cloud. When the price retraces to the cloud, a long position opportunity may arise, with the cloud acting as support. The Chikou Span should also be above the historical price action, confirming the bullish sentiment.
Example 2: Trend Reversals and Breakout Opportunities
A potential trend reversal or continuation can be identified when the Tenkan-sen crosses above the Kijun-sen and the price moves above the cloud. A breakout trade can initiate when the price breaks through the cloud's upper boundary, indicating a shift in momentum. For the Ichimoku cloud to give its strongest confirmation of a reversal, some traders will take a fairly conservative approach and wait for a few things to occur. Traders typically wait for a kumo twist, the Tenkan-sen/Kijun-sen cross, and the Chikou Span to break the cloud and be above the price.
The reverse of these signals can be used in the same fashion for a short position.
Example 3: The Kumo Twist
In a trend, a Kumo Twist can signal a potential trend reversal. Look for the Senkou Span A to cross above or below the Senkou Span B within the cloud. This twist can confirm a shift in market sentiment. Traders can enter a position when the twist is confirmed, placing a stop loss above or below the cloud or the recent swing high/low. I think of the Kumo twists and subsequent clouds as a trend filter. Placing longs on the bullish side or shorts on the bearish side, however, some traders use the Ichimoku Cloud in a contrarian fashion. Contrarian trades can be profitable using this method as price tends to pull back to the clouds A or B span where support or resistance may lie.
Pitfalls and Challenges: Avoiding Common Mistakes
While the Ichimoku Cloud is a powerful tool, it is paramount to be aware of potential pitfalls. Here are a few challenges to navigate:
False Signals and Choppy Market Conditions
In ranging or volatile markets, cloud signals may generate false indications. During such periods combine the Ichimoku Cloud with other technical indicators or wait until the market picks a direction.
Moving out to higher time frames can help clear the murkiness of consolidation phases and provide a clearer picture of the trend, in turn, weeding out false signals.
Overcomplicating Analysis
The Ichimoku Cloud provides a wealth of information, but it's crucial to maintain simplicity and focus. Avoid overcrowding the chart with an abundance of indicators, especially other overlays. It is easy to get lost in the sauce or run into redundancies with too much on the chart.
Testing and Adapting
Each market has its characteristics or volatility, and it's essential to backtest the Ichimoku Cloud strategy, experiment with different parameters, and adapt to market conditions over time. Many traders rely on the standard settings, but in my time developing trading algorithms, I have learned that those settings do not hold from market to market or consistently over time. It is critical to regularly revisit your settings or overall trading strategy to make sure you are drawing on the best available information the Ichimoku Cloud can give.
Enhancing the Ichimoku Cloud Strategy
To enhance your understanding and utilization of the Ichimoku Cloud, consider the following:
Incorporating Other Technical Indicators
Combining the Ichimoku Cloud with other indicators, such as oscillators, to confirm signals can be beneficial. I know I said not to over-clutter your chart with other indicators, but that is a rule of thumb more set for overlays.
Timeframe Considerations
Adapt the Ichimoku Cloud to different timeframes based on your trading style. Higher time frames may provide more reliable signals, while lower timeframes may offer shorter-term opportunities. I don’t believe it ever hurts to back out a few time frames to get a clear picture of market dynamics and avoid tunnel vision.
Conclusion
The Ichimoku Cloud is a versatile indicator, and today we scratched the surface of how it can be appropriately used. Remember, practice, patience, and continuous learning are critical for refining your skills and adapting the Ichimoku Cloud strategy to ever-evolving market conditions. Mastering Oscillators In TradingOscillator indicators are technical analysis tools that show the rate at which a particular asset's price or other aspect is changing. Oscillators help traders identify potential trend reversals, trend continuations, and overbought or oversold conditions. These are general strategies that can apply to most oscillators. We would like to cover these in detail so you can ensure that you are using your oscillators to the fullest of their potential.
There are literally thousands of oscillators to choose from on TradingView. All of them probably have a solid use case, but there are a handful of oscillators that have stood the test of time. Those titans of the oscillator category would include the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), Relative Strength Index (RSI), and Stochastic Oscillator.
1. Trading with Oscillators: Identifying Entry and Exit Points
To use oscillators for trading, traders can look for signals to enter or exit trades. For example, a bullish signal could occur when the indicator crosses above its centerline, indicating that the trend is shifting from bearish to bullish. A bearish signal could occur when the indicator crosses below its centerline, indicating that the trend is shifting from bullish to bearish. Depending on if you are currently in a trade or considering a trade these bullish/bearish signals can be used as either an entry or exit signal.
Traders can also use the momentum of oscillator indicators to identify overbought or oversold conditions. An asset is considered overbought when the oscillator is above a certain threshold, such as 70. Conversely, an asset is considered oversold when an oscillator is below a certain threshold, such as 30. Traders can use these thresholds to identify potential reversal points. Highly overbought can be power areas to look for entry or exit signals.
2. Oscillator Divergences: Confirming Trend Reversals and Continuations
One of the most popular ways oscillators are used is by looking for divergences between the indicator and the price of the asset being analyzed.
For example, a bullish divergence could occur when the price of an asset is making lower lows, but the oscillator is making higher lows. This could be an indication that the trend is about to reverse from bearish to bullish.
Conversely, a bearish divergence could occur when the price of an asset is making higher highs, Oscillator is making lower highs. This could be an indication that the trend is about to reverse from bullish to bearish.
3. Using Oscillators in Combination with Other Technical Indicators
While oscillators can be an incredibly powerful tool on their own, traders can also use them in combination with other technical indicators. For example, traders can use moving averages to confirm oscillator signals. If the oscillator generates a bullish signal and the price of the asset is above its 50-day moving average, it could be a strong indication that the trend is shifting from bearish to bullish.
We see a similar use case in a bearish scenario to follow a trend!
Traders can also use momentum in combination with other oscillators, such as the relative strength index (RSI) or the Stochastic RSI. These indicators provide additional confirmation of momentum signals and can help traders avoid false signals. This is actually one of our favorites as the Stochastic RSI is a measure of the momentum of the RSI. So their respective signals can complement very well.
Putting It All Together
Traders can put this knowledge forward to use most oscillators correctly to adjust their trading strategies and adapt to changing market conditions. We also recommend looking at information the creator of an oscillator has put out in regard to how to properly use the indicator.
Traders can use these strategies to help modify or change their positions. For example, if the chosen oscillator used for an asset is weakening, it could be an indication that the trend is about to reverse. Traders can adjust their strategies accordingly by taking profit from their long positions or entering short positions.
Similarly, if the chosen oscillator for an asset is strengthening, it could be an indication that the trend is about to continue. Traders can adjust their strategies accordingly by adding to their long and short positions or entering new long or short positions.
In conclusion, oscillators are an extremely powerful technical analysis tool that can help traders identify potential trend reversals, trend continuations, and overbought or oversold conditions. By using oscillators in combination with other technical indicators and adjusting their trading strategies to adapt to changing market conditions, traders can improve their trading performance and achieve greater success in the markets.
Mastering Elliott Wave Theory with Renko ChartsElliott Wave Theory is a popular technical analysis tool used by traders to predict market patterns and trends. Developed by Ralph Nelson Elliott in the 1930s, this method is based on the idea that financial markets move in repetitive cycles or waves. In this comprehensive guide, we will discuss the fundamentals of Elliott Wave Theory and explore how Renko charts can be used as a supplemental tool to enhance your analysis. By combining these two techniques, you can gain a deeper understanding of market movements and improve your trading strategies.
I. Understanding Elliott Wave Theory
Basic Principles of Elliott Wave Theory
Elliott Wave Theory is built on the premise that markets exhibit specific patterns, known as waves, that reflect investor psychology. These patterns can be broken down into two types:
1. Impulsive waves: These waves move in the direction of the larger trend and consist of five smaller sub-waves. These waves are marked in green below and are numbered 1,2,3,4, and 5.
2. Corrective waves: These waves move against the primary trend and consist of three smaller sub-waves. These waves are marked in red below and are numbered A, B, and C.
The 5-3 Wave Pattern
The complete Elliott Wave cycle consists of eight waves, with the first five forming an impulsive pattern and the last three forming a corrective pattern. This 5-3 wave pattern repeats itself, creating fractal patterns in the market. Below we have taken the main Elliot wave listed above and broken it down into the first subset. The impulse waves are labeled i, ii, iii, iv, and v and the corrective waves a, b, and c.
Applying Elliott Wave Theory to Trading
To utilize Elliott Wave Theory in your trading, start by identifying the primary trend and its wave count. Analyze the price action to determine if the market is in an impulsive or corrective phase. By understanding the current wave pattern, you can predict probable future movements and make informed trading decisions.
II. Renko Charts: A Supplemental Tool for Elliott Wave Analysis
What are Renko Charts?
Renko charts are a unique type of price chart that only consider price movement and disregard time. Each block, or "brick," on a Renko chart represents a fixed price increment. When the price moves by the predetermined amount, a new brick is added to the chart at a 45 degree angle from the previous. This results in a clean, easily readable chart that highlights significant price trends.
Benefits of using Renko charts
By eliminating the noise of insignificant price fluctuations, Renko charts can help traders:
-Identify trends more easily
-Spot support and resistance levels
-Recognize chart patterns and potential reversal points
-Filter out false breakouts and whipsaws
How to incorporate Renko charts into Elliott Wave analysis
Renko charts can be a valuable addition to your Elliott Wave analysis by helping you confirm wave counts and identify high-probability trading setups. Here's how you can incorporate Renko charts into your analysis:
1. Confirming wave counts: Use Renko charts to validate your wave count by comparing the impulsive and corrective waves on both the traditional and Renko charts. If the wave count is consistent across both chart types, it increases the likelihood of a correct analysis.
2. Identifying high-probability trading setups: Renko charts can help you spot high-probability setups by highlighting significant price trends and potential reversal points. Combining this information with your Elliott Wave analysis can increase the accuracy of your trades. Indicators such as oscillators and moving averages can be useful to help identify these set-ups. Renko charts should not be used solely to make decisions as they are a synthetic chart but are a highly useful tool for identifying the underlying trends.
3. Managing risk: Utilize Renko charts to set stop-loss and take-profit levels based on support and resistance levels. This can help you manage risk effectively and protect your trading capital.
Conclusion
Elliott Wave Theory and Renko charts, when used together, can provide a powerful framework for analyzing market patterns and making informed trading decisions. By understanding the basic principles of Elliott Wave Theory and incorporating Renko charts as a supplemental tool, you can enhance your technical analysis skills and increase your trading success. As with any trading strategy, remember to practice and refine your techniques before applying them to live markets.
🟢Support🟢 & 🔴Resistance🔴 in TradingView Land !!!👨🏫Hello, guys🤪; I'm Pejman, and today we will change the regular TradingView to TradingView Disneyland🎡 . I want to tell the story of Snow White and the trader dwarfs.
Once upon a time🌞, in the kingdom👑 of Stocktopia, there was a young princess👰♂️ named Snow White Charts. She was the heir to the realm of Stocktopia. Still, unlike her father, the King of Stocktopia, a successful businessman🧔, Princess needed help understanding the stock market. She often lost money💸.
One day, while walking in the forest🌿🌲, Princess Snow White Charts stumbled upon an old house called Dwarf traders. She became curious and decided to visit this house🏠.
Dwarves lived in this house🏠 whose job was to help the traders. They directed the price of different stocks by creating support and resistance lines or zones, and each dwarf was responsible for one of them.
The Princess did not know anything about these lines. So she decided to stay to learn about these powerful lines.
One of these dwarves, named Doc, looked older and wiser than the other dwarves. The Princess enlisted the help of Doc to learn how these lines worked.
Doc was proficient in various methods of technical analysis and had an exceptional talent for simplifying complex issues😝. So he tried to teach these lines to the Princess👰♂️ in the simplest and best way possible.
If you also want to master technical analysis like Doc before learning support and resistance lines/zones, read the following post to learn what technical analysis is. 🤓👇
Doc showed the following picture to the Princess.
Can you tell what the role of support lines is before reading Doc's explanation❓👇
As you can see in the picture, the candles are placed in a downward trend, and they go down🔴 like playful children🧒🧒 playing on the slide.
Doc explained that support lines are like a bouncy castle🕍 for price. When the candles reach these Lines, they'll push them up just like a trampoline; the price will grow.
Remember that they prevent the price from moving too far down or falling.😅 The candles are safe on the support lines, so Sleepy sleeps peacefully.
Doc believes that when a stock's price hits support lines, it can indicate a potential buying opportunity. Still, when it breaks down🔴 the support line, it can show a possible selling opportunity; but I will discuss this in the following.
Now you may ask, what are resistance lines❓ The exact same question came up for Princess Snow White Charts😁.
First, look at the chart below.👇
Resistance lines are like the roof of a bouncy castle. In an uptrend🟢, when the candles are happy and constantly jumping higher and higher, the resistance lines prevent them from going further.
The resistance line is guarded by Goupy, who pushes the candles down🔴 like a bully, whenever the candles hit the resistance line.
Let's suppose all these price lines & dwarfs want to lead candles in a particular direction.
Now that you are familiar with support and resistance lines, you might have the same question as Princess👰♂️had again. How to recognize and find these lines❓
According to Doc, there are several ways to find these lines:
Past Price Data:
Sir John says: "Price data is like a roadmap, showing you where the market has been and where it might be heading."
Looking at past price data is like checking the tracks of a criminal. It may be seen, but it is simply not correct. You can know how he behaved in the past because he may repeat the same behavior in the future.
So, to better understand the price, you must also know its past. Even Philip Fisher also believes that: "Price data is the lens through which we can see the market's true nature."
Previous Lines:
By finding previous support and resistance lines, it's as if you've found a criminal's 🔫 recorded files.
Price data is the story of the market, and those who ignore it are doomed to repeat their mistakes. You can't predict the future without understanding the past, and the market's past performance is the best indicator of its future performance.
Wow, speak of the devil🤐, I forgot that indicators also have important points to say too.
Indicators:
Maybe price data is like a roadmap🚨 or past lines like a criminal recorded file. But indicators are like GPS.
Indicators are the GPS of the financial markets, and they guide us to our destination and help us avoid getting lost.
Indicators are the financial markets' fingerprints, revealing the underlying patterns and trends.
Doc and I found some indicators helpful in identifying supply(resistance) and demand(support) zones, such as:
Moving Average/Parabolic SAR/Bollinger Bands/Ichimoku Kinko Hyo/Fibonacci/Pivot point
There are many ways to recognize these lines and even indicators that help you find them like an assistant, but you should still try to know and learn them yourself.
For example, Doc says there are additional support and resistance lines. Like the slides in the game, they can be straight or sloping, going up🟢 or down🔴. I'm kidding, but they really have these types 🙂.
In the previous pictures, I showed you only static lines. Now, look at the pictures below because I will show you all the types of these lines with examples.
For example, if the support and resistance lines are like a road🛣 on the ground, they are called static support and resistance lines .
Now, what if this road turns into steep ropes❓ Well, it is known that they are called dynamic support and resistance lines .
For example, if you want to go mountain🗻 climbing, it is as if you are climbing with dynamic support. In general, in an upward🟢 trend, dynamic support lines like a ramp🚧 prevent the price from falling.
Now that we are talking about climbing let's introduce another game🎲. The zipline🤐😄.
The price decreases from the dynamic resistance lines like a zipline in downward🔴 trends. 😄
I must say that theoretically, the price will go down after hitting the dynamic resistance lines and these lines prevent price growth🟢.
Dynamic resistance or support is also called a trend line. Trendlines are helpful in many parts of technical analysis, such as classical patterns.
Just take a look at the below post. You will find that trend lines help us effectively identify these patterns or trade with them. That's how I am! COOL!😎😎.👇
Don't worry and don't rush because, as said: Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.
Soon I will teach all these patterns in future posts, but we have to go step by step together.😎😎😎
But I must add that the price is also very playful😛. The price may cross these lines, be above the resistance or below the support, and escape from them.
"If price can make a credible breakout, this could be a good place to trade and make some sweet dollars," Doc whispered to Princess Snow White Charts.
What is a valid breakout❗️❓
This was the question that arose in the Princess's 👰 mind, and I think it is your question as well.
Imagine that the resistance line is like a prison that confines the candles. A diligent & playful candle needs the support of buyers to escape from this prison. If the buyers support it, it can get out of this prison.
After escaping the breakout candle, if another candle, called the confirmation, escapes from this prison and jumps above the breakout candle, the way will be clear for other prisoners, and they can run. So a valid breakout will happen.
A valid breakout is created with a strong candle called a breakout candle(such as the Marubozu candle); after that, a candle as a confirmation candle will confirm this breakout.
Don't worry about selling below the Support line or buying above the resistance line. If a valid breakout has occurred, the target stock will decrease/rise further, and the trend will not stop or end anytime soon.
Let's walk through an example of a valid breakout with Doc.
As you can see, the price broke this line with a strong candle and made a confirmation candle. As a result, we consider this a valid breakout.
If you have noticed, finally, the price went back to this line to greet the previous line. This movement is called Pullback .
In general, to say that a breakout is valid, there are several conditions:
Preferably, the breakout candle and the confirmation candle are the same color.
The point where the breakout candle closes must be above resistance or below support.
The breakout must have happened with the body of a candle, not with the candle's shadow.
Even the closing point of the confirmation candle should be above the resistance breakout candle or below the support breakout candle.
But I should mention that the trading volume increases when a valid breakout occurs.
Now that you know a valid breakout, we can also check an invalid breakout, so dive down🔴 to the chart below.
As you can see, the price tries to be playful😜😜 and break the support line. But there are no buyers to support the price for this movement, so this breakout will be temporary and short-lived.
The price will soon return below the Support line. The invalid breakouts are sometimes known as bull traps or bear traps which I will explain in future posts.
I advise you to only sometimes look for a straight line for support or resistance.
I use support and resistance lines in my analysis to draw trend lines. But when I want to determine the support and resistance of a currency, I draw them as support and resistance zones.
Using zones makes you no longer involved in each line's small & fake breaks, and you won't make mistakes with each break.
Now that you have learned almost everything about these lines😎😎, it's time to start fishing and apply these tips to real trades.
I have considered all the necessary items for trading with these lines in the chart below. You might understand the reason for trading by looking at the picture before reading the description.
( The First Method )
The picture shows the price below this resistance zone, and they tried to escape several times.
Still, finally, when the trading volume and the number of buyers increased, it could cross its resistance zone with a strong candle(breakout candle), and then the confirmation candle formed.
Now, as traders, we should place our Entry Point(EP) slightly higher than the confirmation candle. And also, be careful;😱 maybe this break is invalid, or it returns below its resistance. So we place our Stop Loss(SL) a little lower than the breakout candle.
Now, look at this chart again. But I am going to teach you another method for trading.
( The Second Method )
You should only sometimes enter into a position at one point.
For example, when the price returns to its resistance to greet(Pullback), it's a good time to divide your money into two parts & re-enter the position.
With this, your average Entry Point will be lower, and the Risk/Reward(RR) ratio will increase.
( I know that the Risk/Reward(RR) is something that some of you are unfamiliar with, so don't worry cause I'm going to talk about it in future posts.)
There is another way to trade with these lines.
(The Third Method)
You've got another way to trade with two Entry Points. You can enter the position when the pullback accrues; the other entry point is a little higher than the highest price before the pullback.
In this method, you will be more confident about the position, but at the same time, the Risk/Reward (RR) is decreased compared to the previously mentioned methods. The Stop Loss is the same as the others.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prince Snow White Charts learned all these tricks along with Doc and the other Dwarves.
Excited to try this new knowledge, he immediately returned to Stocktopia😊and applied what he had learned to his trading. To his surprise, his trades became more profitable.
The king was pleased with his daughter's improvement, & these lessons were taught to all the traders in the kingdom👑 of Stocktopia.
From that day, Stocktopia was known as the kingdom with the most successful traders, thanks to the wisdom of Doc and Princess Snow White Charts.😊😊
Stocktopia's traders lived happily ever after, thanks to the protection and guidance provided by the Seven Dwarfs of Support.😇😇
I hope you enjoyed this story and use support and resistance lines/zones in your trading. But never forget that before using any new method, try it several times to master that method.😎😎😎.
Now let's leave the world of stories and return to the real world of traders. Take advantage of the following posts.
In the end, I wish you health and success.
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS is the new KING ok here me out.
i'll go straight to point
this message is for the newbies (oldies gonna hate)
what is pure Minimalist Technical Analysis Trader ( MTAT : i just made this up)
-it is when u leave out all so-called indicators and focus on the chart
-some of these indis are: MACD, RSI, ATR, STOCHT....
-it's when u leave out the FUNDAMENTAL analysis and focus on the chart pattern
- i'm talking here about financial news and garbage flash news
- didn't u sometimes realize that a news come out, but the dollar act contrary to the news it-self?
HOW TO APPLY this MTAT ?
let's be practical, but first u need to watch so many charts until ur eyes pops out (it's a prerequisite).
1- always pick a 4h-time frame chart
2- always brush ur teeth before bed time
3- always look for a bullish pair to trade (this is essential for the plan to succeed)
4- after identifying the bullish pair, start looking for SUpport & Resistance...but never make the chart too complicated, u really need like 2-4 lines drawn only
5- after u draw the S&R lines, look for retracements (the pair is going down slightly)
6- use the FIBONACCI drawing tool and draw from the lowest to highest point (before the retracement)
7- it's best to focus on the 61.8% line
8- look for a confirmation candle:
a- a red Bar, which the low point of it touched (crossed) the 61.8% Fib line
b- followed by a green bar which closed ABOVE THE fib 61.8% line
c- place ur buy trade when the green candle closes
9- how to set your target:
a- use the (-61.8% or -100%) FIb levels
or
b- use the Resistance line u drawn previously
now the question is, do u really need MACD or RSI or STOCH?
of course NO, if you google it, u'll know that these reflects previous price actions? so why use it for FUTURE price actions?
what to do when big news are coming out?
IT WILL ACT ACCORDINGLY THE PREVIOUSLY SET CHART PATTERN...this will never fail you
DO YOU PLACE STOP ORDERS?
NEVER, never put pre-set stop orders,
you should be active on ur screen and wait for the price to fall to the price u set as a stoploss, AND CLOSE TRADE MANUALLY
WHY?, because when we have big news, we have volatility the pair will go up and down so hard to close all stoploss orders
then it will continue to obey the technical chart pattern as a fukn slave!
let's practice:
use the FIB Ret tool:
identify the red and green candle:
place your buy order:
et voila....

What's the Difference? Fundamental vs TechnicalHello dear traders,
Here are some educational chart patterns that you must know in 2022 and 2023.
I hope you find this information educational and informative.
We are new here so we ask you to support our views with your likes and comments,
Feel free to ask any questions in the comments, and we'll try to answer them all, folks.
Fundamental vs. Technical Analysis:-
Fundamental and technical analysis are two major schools of thought when it comes to approaching the markets, yet are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Investors and traders use both to research and forecast future stock prices. Like any investment strategy or philosophy, both have advocates and adversaries.
Fundamental Analysis:-
Fundamental analysis evaluates stocks by attempting to measure their intrinsic value. Fundamental analysts study everything from the overall economy and industry conditions to the financial strength and management of individual companies. Earnings, expenses, assets, and liabilities all come under scrutiny by fundamental analysts.
Technical Analysis:-
Technical analysis differs from fundamental analysis, in that traders attempt to identify opportunities by looking at statistical trends, such as movements in a stock's price and volume. The core assumption is that all known fundamentals are factored into the price, thus there is no need to pay close attention to them. Technical analysts do not attempt to measure a security's intrinsic value. Instead, they use stock charts to identify patterns and trends that suggest what a stock will do in the future.
Trade with care.

ETH/USD Main trend. Accumulation/Distribution. Pivot pointsThe chart shows the main trend (most of it) of this cryptocurrency. The timeframe is 1 week.
Most people "trade" and do not understand the profit values of the price from the real set zones (not hamsters).
Also shown are the recruitment zones (horizontal channel) and partial reset zones (until the triangle decoupling) of previously gained positions of large market participants.
The last video explained this in detail and showed it on the example of this coin.
Even taking into account that this triangle (1.5 years) is a position reset. That doesn't mean that this formation must necessarily break down. But, this is something to keep in mind, especially the +3600%.
Volatility narrowing, that is, the end of triangle formation is a “doubt zone”—the “market fuel” (small and medium market participants) for the impulse is clamped down. That is, the decoupling of the triangle and the direction of further trend development.
The price is clamped into a triangle. A formation of this magnitude will only unravel due to future world shocks, especially financial ones. Who knows, maybe this time there will be no correlation at all, as the time of "coming out of the shadows" approaches.
Always trade within your working range (for example 1 day), always understand where the price is in the main trend. Based on this understanding, limit the risks, and make a decision about reducing (partial liquidation) or, on the contrary, about adding to the position.
Locally on the 1-day timeframe a wedge is formed on the decline.
I've shown all the decoupling options for this trading situation in detail in this trading idea, as well as in the video.
ETH/USDT Local trend. Channel. Wedge. Pivot zones.
Under idea fixed my previous trading as well as training/trading ideas where I accompanied the price in updates for quite a long period. Note the exact values and more. You can use the material in them as educational, based on reality.
Remember, the basis of trading is not guessing (that's what everyone wants to do), but your trading strategy and risk management based on your knowledge and experience.
Those who want to guess tend to lose money. Do not be such characters in the market, that is, its fuel. I wish all smart people a big profit, and wish all stupid people to wake up from the dream of stupidity.

The best course of The Major Player Behavior. ETH example Part 1I want to continue to share with you my knowledge of the behavior of the major players and who they are.😁
In the last example about Bitcoin, we considered a similar situation, now I would like to demonstrate this on another coin so that you also learn to identify such moments and fix them.
Right now, on the example of Ethereum, we see approximately the same moment, a small candle fixed exactly in the stops zone of a major players.
Thus, we can assume that in about 83% of cases the price will go up, since, as we mentioned in the previous tutorials, the stops of a large player in this case are equal to large buys on the exchange.
Best wishes
Multiple Time Frames - How to React Quicker & ConfirmationsIf you are trading the 1 Hour chart, you can use the 3 minute chart, for instance, to your advantage.
You can either SHORT the Blue Line on the 1 hour chart, or if you are feeling unsure, you can wait for a breakdown in the lower time frames to confirm and enter.
Let's say you are SHORTING ETH, but missed the Blue Line Short.
On the 3 minute chart, price didn't reach the Blue Line. HOWEVER, if you are watching Bitcoin, which you should pretty much all of the time, you'll see a rejection on the 3 minute and a red candle pointing downwards on BTC.
Because BITCOIN affects the market so much, it's safe to say ETH was never going to reach the Blue Line, especially since ETH/BTC was weak at the time. So shorting at this level on either ETH or BTC would have been safe and would have resulted in good profits.
Of course, all of this is much more stress! BUT if you want to spend more time trading and increase your win percentage, watching the LOWER time frames is important.
Otherwise, feel free to take trades at the Blue Line and set a stop/loss accordingly. Your win rate will still be high, just not as high.
Momentum in the Markets ✅✅✅✅ I will look at the momentum to understand if price has power to move towards my take profit area or no, a perfect scenario is when i enter a long or a short order the momentum should increase from candlestick to candlestick not decreasing, increasing momentum meaning that price has fuel and it is not exhausted.
🎯 Increasing momentum - bulls/bears has power, they have fuel to push price
🎯 Decreasing momentum - bulls/bears are losing power, they dont have fuel they are exhausted.
‼️ Take a look at this concept in HTF starting from H4 - MN
Kindly see the photos attached with bullish/bearish decreasing and increasing momentum.
Fibonacci Waves / Weak Market Hypotheses
On the above chart I investigated the relationship and continuation of 'waves' within the Fibonacci Circle. Due to its incredible success, I decided to look over it again.
On this chart I show very comparable formations (formation 1) (formation 2)
Formation 1 is contained within 0.786, while formation 2 extends through the 1 level
Applying the same Logic with the continuation through 2.618, the bars pattern placed is price inverted from previous move through 2.618
The Weak (form) Market Hypothesis suggests " that today’s stock prices reflect all the data of past prices and that no form of technical analysis can be effectively utilized to aid investors in making trading decisions."
I find this interestingly applicable to this scenario, with repeated formations, in repeating fib levels.
