Average Bullish & Bearish Percentage ChangeAverage Bullish & Bearish Percentage Change
Processes two key aspects of directional market movements relative to price levels. Unlike traditional momentum tools, it separately calculates the average of positive and negative percentage changes in price using user-defined independent counts of actual past bullish and bearish candles. This approach delivers comprehensive and precise view of average percentage changes.
FEATURES:
Count-Based Averages: Separate averaging of bullish and bearish %𝜟 based on their respective number of occurrences ensures reliable and precise momentum calculations.
Customizable Averaging: User-defined number of candle count sets number of past bullish and bearish candles used in independent averaging.
Two Methods of Candle Metrics:
1. Net Move: Focuses on the body range of the candle, emphasizing the net directional movement.
2. Full Capacity: Incorporates wicks and gaps to capture full potential of the bar.
The indicator classifies Doji candles contextually, ensuring they are appropriately factored into the bullish or bearish metrics to avoid mistakes in calculation:
1. Standard Doji - open equals close.
2. Flat Close Doji - Candles where the close matches the previous close.
Timeframe Flexibility:
The indicator can be applied across any desired timeframe, allowing for seamless multi-timeframe analysis.
HOW TO USE
Select Method of Bar Metrics:
Net Move: For analyzing markets where price changes are consistent and bars are close to each other.

Why Percentage Change Is Important
Standardized Measurement Across Assets:
Percentage change normalizes price movements, making it easier to compare different assets with varying price levels. For example, a $1 move in a $10 stock is significant, but the same $1 move in a $1,000 stock is negligible.
Highlights Relative Impact:
By measuring the price change as a percentage of the close, traders can better understand the relative impact of a move on the asset’s overall value.
Volatility Insights:
A high percentage change indicates heightened volatility, which can be a signal of potential opportunities or risks, making it more actionable than raw price changes. Percents directly reflect the strength of buying or selling pressure, providing a clearer view of momentum compared to raw price moves, which may not account for the relative size of the move.
By focusing on percentage change, this indicator provides a normalized, actionable, and insightful measure of market momentum, which is critical for comparing, analyzing, and acting on price movements across various assets and conditions.
Percentage
EMA Distance & Sector InfoThis indicator provides insights into price trends relative to Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) and displays sector/industry information about the asset. Below is a detailed explanation of its purpose and what it is designed to achieve:
Purpose of the Code
The indicator offers two key functionalities:
1. Analyzing Price Distance from Multiple EMAs:
• Helps traders understand how far the current price is from key EMAs, expressed as a percentage.
• Calculates average percentage distances over a specified period (default: 63 days) to spot consistent trends or mean reversion opportunities.
• Useful for trend-following strategies, allowing the trader to see when the price is above or below important EMAs (e.g., 9, 21, 50, 100, and 150-period EMAs).
2. Displaying Asset Sector and Industry Information:
• Displays the sector and industry of the asset being analyzed (e.g., Technology, Consumer Goods).
• Provides additional context when evaluating performance across a specific sector or comparing an asset to its peers.
Who Would Use This Indicator?
This indicator is particularly helpful for:
1. Swing Traders and Positional Traders:
• They can use it to track whether the price is trading significantly above or below critical EMAs, which often signals overbought/oversold conditions or trend strength.
• The average percentage distances help to identify momentum shifts or pullback opportunities.
2. Sector/Industry-Focused Investors:
• Understanding an asset’s sector and industry helps investors gauge how the asset fits into the broader market context.
• This is valuable for sector rotation strategies, where investors shift funds between sectors based on performance trends.
How It Helps in Trading Decisions
1. Entry and Exit Points:
• If the price is far above an EMA (e.g., 21 EMA), it might indicate an overbought condition or a strong trend, while a negative percentage could signal a pullback or reversal opportunity.
• The average percentage distances smooth the fluctuations and reveal longer-term trends.
2. Contextual Information:
• Knowing the sector and industry is useful when analyzing trends. For example, if Technology stocks are doing well, and this asset belongs to that sector, it could indicate sector-wide momentum.
Summary of the Indicator’s Purpose
This code provides:
• EMA trend monitoring: Visualizes the price position relative to multiple EMAs and averages those distances for smoother insights.
• Sector and industry information: Adds valuable context for asset performance analysis.
• Decision-making support: Helps traders identify overbought/oversold levels and assess the asset within the broader market landscape.
In essence, this indicator is a multi-purpose tool that combines technical analysis (through EMA distances) with fundamental context (via sector/industry info), making it valuable for traders and investors aiming to time entries/exits or understand market behavior better.
Adjustable Percentage Range Moving AverageAdjustable Percentage Range Moving Average (APRMA)
The Adjustable Percentage Range Moving Average (APRMA) is a technical analysis tool designed for traders and market analysts who seek a dynamic approach to understanding market volatility and trend identification. Unlike traditional moving averages, the APRMA incorporates user-adjustable percentage bands around a central moving average line, offering a customizable view of price action relative to its recent history.
Key Features:
Central Moving Average: At its core, APRMA calculates a moving average (type of your choice) of the price over a specified number of periods, serving as the baseline for the indicator.
Percentage Bands: Surrounding the moving average are four bands, two above and two below, set at user-defined percentages away from the central line. These bands expand and contract based on the percentage input, not on standard deviation like Bollinger Bands, which allows for a consistent visual interpretation of how far the price has moved from its average.
Customizability: Users can adjust:
The length of the moving average period to suit short-term, medium-term, or long-term analysis.
The percentage offset for the bands, enabling traders to set the sensitivity of the indicator according to the asset's volatility or their trading strategy.
Visual Interpretation:
When the price moves towards or beyond the upper band, it might indicate that the asset is potentially overbought or that a strong upward trend is in place.
Conversely, price action near or below the lower band could suggest an oversold condition or a strong downward trend.
The space between the bands can be used to gauge volatility; narrower bands suggest lower current volatility relative to the average, while wider bands indicate higher volatility.
Usage in Trading:
Trend Confirmation: A price staying above the moving average and pushing the upper band might confirm an uptrend, while staying below and testing the lower band could confirm a downtrend.
Reversion Strategies: Traders might look for price to revert to the mean (moving average) when it touches or crosses the bands, setting up potential entry or exit points.
Breakout Signals: A price moving decisively through a band after a period of consolidation within the bands might signal a breakout.
The APRMA provides a clear, adaptable framework for traders to visualize where the price stands in relation to its recent average, offering insights into potential overbought/oversold conditions, trend strength, and volatility, all tailored by the trader's strategic preferences.

Tweaking
There are numerous ways to tweak a trading system, but chartists should avoid over-optimizing the indicator settings. In other words, don't attempt to find the perfect moving average period or crossover level. Perfection is unattainable when developing a system or trading the markets. It is important to keep the system logical and focus tweaks on other aspects, such as the actual price chart of the underlying security.
What do levels above and below 50% signify in the long-term moving average?
A move above 52.5% is deemed bullish, and below 47.5% is deemed bearish. These levels help to reduce whipsaws by using buffers for bullish and bearish thresholds.
How does the short-term moving average work to identify pullbacks or bounces?
When using a 5-day EMA, a move below 40 signals a pullback, and a move above 60 signals a bounce.
How is the reversal of pullback or bounce identified?
A move back above 50 after a pullback or below 50 after a bounce signals that the respective trend may be resuming.
How can you ensure that the uptrend has resumed?
It’s important to wait for the surge above 50 to ensure the uptrend has resumed, signaling improved breadth.
Can the system be tweaked to optimize indicator settings?
While there are various ways to tweak the system, seeking perfection through over-optimizing settings is advised against. It's crucial to keep the system logical and focus tweaks on the price chart of the underlying security.

Volume Buyer-Seller [GOODY]This indicator was designed to analyze buying and selling pressure through volume calculations, providing insights into market dynamics. It can be used to determine whether buyers or sellers dominate the market at any given time.
Key Features
1. Volume Calculations: This indicator calculates the volume attributable to buyers and sellers for each bar, then represents it as buying and selling columns on the chart. It also provides the average volume over a specified period for context.
2. Dominance Logic: By comparing the buying and selling volumes, the indicator determines which side (buyers or sellers) has dominance. If the difference between the two is within a specified threshold, the market is considered indecisive.
3. Dominance Marker: Circles or squares appear on the chart to indicate the dominant force, helping traders quickly assess market sentiment. The colors of these markers can be customized.
4. Label Display: The indicator displays a comprehensive label on the chart with information like total volume, buyer/seller percentages, average volume, ratio, and ATR (Average True Range) details. This label can show current or past data depending on user preference.
5. Ratio and Control: A critical component is the ratio, calculated as the proportion of buying volume to selling volume. This ratio is a key indicator of market sentiment, with an appended symbol to denote whether buyers or sellers are in control.
How to Use
• Settings: Adjust the settings to align with your trading strategy. You can modify the length for average volume, ATR, and other parameters to suit your trading style.
• Volume Analysis: Monitor the buying and selling columns to determine market activity. The larger columns indicate higher volume, suggesting a strong buying or selling pressure.
• Dominance: Pay attention to the dominance markers. Green markers indicate buying dominance, while red markers signify selling dominance. If the market is indecisive, the marker will be gray.
• Ratio: A ratio above 1 suggests buying dominance, while a ratio below 1 indicates selling dominance. The ratio's appended color tag helps quickly identify which side is in control.
• Labels: The labels provide a snapshot of key data, including total volume, buyer/seller percentages, average volume, ratio, and ATR. This information is helpful in understanding overall market conditions.
Reading the Indicator

Delta and Ratio: Colors change based on their calculated values to reflect market conditions quickly.
What is Volume Delta?
Volume delta, also known as volume difference or volume delta divergence, refers to the difference between buying (accumulation) and selling (distribution) volumes within a given time period. It provides a quantitative measure of the net buying or selling pressure in the market.
How to Use Volume Delta:
Identifying Market Sentiment:
Positive delta values indicate that buying volume exceeds selling volume, suggesting bullish sentiment.
Negative delta values indicate that selling volume exceeds buying volume, suggesting bearish sentiment.
Confirming Price Movements:
Volume delta can be used to confirm price movements. For example, if prices are rising and volume delta is positive, it may suggest that the uptrend is supported by strong buying interest.
Conversely, if prices are falling and volume delta is negative, it may suggest that the downtrend is supported by strong selling pressure.
Spotting Divergence:
Divergence between price and volume delta can signal potential trend reversals. For example, if prices are rising but volume delta is declining (or vice versa), it may indicate weakening momentum and a possible reversal in trend.
Confirming Breakouts:
Volume delta can help confirm breakout moves. For instance, a breakout accompanied by increasing positive delta values may suggest strong buying interest and validate the breakout.
In summary, volume delta provides valuable insights into market sentiment and can be used alongside price action analysis to make more informed trading decisions.
Wick %Heyo Fellas,
thanks for checking out my new indicator.
Introduction
Wick % is a simple indicator to compare wick size with body size (mode 1) and to compare wick size with candle size (mode 2).
Upper wicks are bullish when close is higher than open pricen.
Lower wicks are bearish when close is lower than open price.
Wick Theory
In general, big wick and small bodie on a bar means that bull and bears are fighting heavily.
A big wick below the body means the bulls are leading in that fight,
and a big wick above the body means the bears are leading in that fight.
Calculation Formula
Mode 1 – Percentual Increase Wick/Body:
upperWickPercentage = (upperWick / body) * 100 - 100
lowerWickPercentage = (lowerWick / body) * 100 - 100
Mode 2 – Percent Wick/Candlestick:
upperWickPercentage = (upperWick / (high - low)) * 100
lowerWickPercentage = (lowerWick / (high - low)) * 100
Usage
You can use it on every symbol and every timeframe.
The indicator repaints by default, but you can disable it in the settings.
When you disable repaint, it moves the label one bar to the right.
If you want to use the indicator for signals, you must disable repainting.
Best regards,
simwai
Grucha Percentage Index (GPI) V2Grucha Percentage Index originally created by Polish coder named Grzegorz Antosiewicz in 2011 as mql code. This code is adapted by his original code to tradingview's pinescript.
What Does it Do
GPI is an oscillator that finds the lowest/highest prices with certain depth and generates signals by comparing the bull and bear bars. It use two lines, one is the original GPI calculation, the other is the smoothed version of the original line.
How to Use
GPI can catch quick volatility based movements and can be used as a confirmation indicator along with your existing trading system. When GDI (default color yellow) crosses above the GDI MA (default colored blue) it can be considered as a bullish movement and reverse can be considered as bearish movement.
How does it Work
The main calculation is done via the code below:
for i=0 to length
if candleC < 0
minus += candleC
if candleC >= 0
plus -= candleC
Simply we are adding green and red bars seperately and then getting their percentage to the bullish movement to reflect correctly in a 0-100 z-score enviroment via the code below:
res = (math.abs(minus)/sum)*100
Rest is all about plotting the results and adding seperate line with smoothing.
Note
These kind of oscillators are not designed to be used alone for signal generation but rather should be used in combination with different indicators to increase reliability of your signals.
Happy Trading.

Breadth - % Above * MA█ OVERVIEW
'Breadth - % Above * MA' is a script developed to measure market breadth, providing traders with a deeper understanding of the overall health of a chosen stock market or specific sector. By calculating the percentage of stocks performing above their Simple Moving Average (SMA), it offers an efficient and precise method to gauge market trends.
█ MARKET BREADTH
Market breadth is a powerful tool in technical analysis. It examines the number of securities on an upward trajectory versus those on a downward one. This indicator serves as a measure of market sentiment and assists in identifying the strength and sustainability of market trends.
█ PERCENTAGE ABOVE MOVING AVERAGE
The script's primary function is to show the percentage of stocks trading above a selected SMA. This provides valuable insight into the market's condition. For instance, a high percentage of stocks above their 200-day moving average may suggest a strong bull market. Conversely, a low percentage could indicate a bearish market. However, these are mere observations and should be supplemented with additional analysis for informed trading decisions.
█ KEY FEATURES
The script offers extensive customization. Users can choose from various stock market groups and SMA periods. The options for data smoothing and chart visualization enhance the versatility of the script.

Average Range PercentageIt is indicator for average percent range (range from high to low of stock/index price) of N days,
This will help to find high percentage moving stock/index for intraday.
ASG Delta %This utility script provides a convenient way to calculate the percentage gain or drop of a token's price within a user-defined date range. It eliminates the need for manual measurement on individual charts, saving time and effort.
The script is particularly valuable when integrated into a daily token scanning routine for watchlists. By comparing the significant gains or drops among different tokens, traders can identify potential trading opportunities.
Simply select the desired date range, and the script will identify the highest and lowest price points achieved during that period. It then shows a visual representation in the form of a bullish or bearish box, displaying the percentage change (delta %). If the current price falls within the box's upper and lower bounds, additional percentage information can be shown in either the 'normal' or 'reverse' mode.
For instance, if a token experiences a -52.35% drop, enabling the 'Reverse' setting will reveal a potential 109.86% gain (from the low), or a 76.02% gain (from current price) or a potential drop of -16.5% (from current price) etc.. Having these basic statistics available, without having to manually chart them, especially during prolonged bear or bull markets, enables traders to make informed decisions and position themselves for more profitable trades.
I hope you find this script valuable. Your comments and recommendations are welcome as they will help improve the script's functionality further.
Price Percentage Shaded CandlesDescription:
The Price Percentage Shaded Candles indicator (P%SC) is a technical analysis tool designed to represent price candles on a chart with shading intensity based on the percentage change between the open and close prices. This overlay indicator enhances visual analysis by providing a visual representation of price movement intensity.
How it Works:
The P%SC indicator calculates the percentage change between the open and close prices of each candle. It then determines the shading intensity of the price candles based on this percentage change. Higher percentage changes result in darker shading, while lower percentage changes result in lighter shading.
Usage:
To effectively utilize the Price Percentage Shaded Candles indicator, follow these steps:
1. Apply the Price Percentage Shaded Candles indicator to your chart by adding it from the available indicators.
2. Configure the indicator's inputs:
- Specify the color for bullish candles using the "Bullish Color" input.
- Specify the color for bearish candles using the "Bearish Color" input.
3. Observe the shaded candles on the chart:
- Bullish candles are colored with the specified bullish color and shaded according to the percentage change.
- Bearish candles are colored with the specified bearish color and shaded according to the percentage change.
4. Interpret the shaded candles:
- Darker shading indicates a higher percentage change and stronger price movement during the corresponding candle.
- Lighter shading indicates a lower percentage change and weaker price movement during the corresponding candle.
5. Combine the analysis of shaded candles with other technical analysis tools, such as trend lines, support and resistance levels, or candlestick patterns, to identify potential trade setups.
6. Implement appropriate risk management strategies, including setting stop-loss orders and position sizing, to manage your trades effectively and protect your capital.
Note: The Price Percentage Shaded Candles indicator provides insights into the shading intensity of price candles based on percentage changes. However, it is recommended to use this indicator in conjunction with other technical analysis tools and perform thorough analysis before making trading decisions.
Price Percentage Breakout by Time PeriodDescription:
The Price Percentage Breakout by Time Period (P%BTP) indicator is a technical analysis tool designed to identify potential breakout signals based on the percentage change in price over a specified lookback period. It helps traders identify significant price movements that exceed a user-defined threshold, indicating potential trading opportunities.
How it Works:
The P%BTP indicator calculates the percentage change between the open and close prices of each candle. It compares this percentage change to the highest percentage change observed over the specified lookback period. When the percentage change exceeds or equals this highest value, it indicates a potential breakout signal. The indicator colors the bars on the chart based on whether it's a bullish or bearish breakout.
Usage:
To effectively utilize the Price Percentage Breakout by Time Period indicator, follow these steps:
1. Apply the P%BTP indicator to your chart by adding it from the available indicators.
2. Customize the input settings to suit your preferences. You can define the lookback period, which determines the number of bars used for calculating the percentage change, as well as choose colors for bullish and bearish breakouts.
3. Observe the bars on the chart:
- Bars highlighted in the bullish color indicate potential bullish breakout signals.
- Bars highlighted in the bearish color indicate potential bearish breakout signals.
4. Interpret the breakout signals:
- A bullish breakout signal occurs when the percentage change in price exceeds or equals the highest percentage change observed over the lookback period, indicating a potential upward movement.
- A bearish breakout signal occurs when the percentage change in price exceeds or equals the highest percentage change observed over the lookback period, indicating a potential downward movement.
5. Consider additional analysis:
- Combine the breakout signals from the P%BTP indicator with other technical analysis tools, such as support and resistance levels, trend lines, or candlestick patterns, to confirm potential trade setups.
6. Implement appropriate risk management strategies, including setting stop-loss orders and position sizing, to manage your trades effectively and protect your capital.
Note: The Price Percentage Breakout by Time Period indicator provides insights into potential breakout signals based on the percentage change in price over a specified lookback period. However, it is recommended to use this indicator in conjunction with other technical analysis tools and perform thorough analysis before making trading decisions.
Manual PnL (Profit and Loss) % Tracker - spot long only
This is a manual profit and loss tracker. It takes the user's manual input of total cost and quantity, and then outputs a table on the bottom right of the chart showing the profit or loss %, average purchase price, gross profit or loss, and market value.
Instructions:
1. Double click the indicator title at the top left of the chart
2. Select the "Inputs" tab and click the empty field next to "Symbol" to enter the traded symbol+exchange. This entry MUST be the same as the chart you are on, for example BTCUSDT/BINANCE (indicator will not display otherwise)
3. Enter the Total Cost and Qty of shares/coins owned
4. Optional - change positive or negative colors
5. Optional - under the "Style" tab, change the color of the average price (AVG) line
Note that for the average price (AVG) line to be shown/hidden you must enable/disable "Indicator and financials labels" in the scales settings.
For crypto or other tickers that have prices in many decimal places I would suggest, for the sake of accuracy, adjusting the decimal places in the code so that for prices under $1 you will display more info.
For example let's say you purchase x number of crypto at a price of 0.031558 you should change the code displaying "0.00" on line 44 to "0.000000"
This will ensure that the output table and plotted line will calculate an average price with the same number of decimals.
Fixed Volatility OscillatorA fixed volatility plotter set to a 0-100 range - Plots the current volatility % using the formula to calculate volatility and stdev (standard deviation) based on the candle lookback.
The indicator is Fixed, which means that regardless of the chart, the volatility will be plotted on a percentage of 0% - 100% with a 101% threshold set to indicate a volatility reset. While the volume of volatility will change depending on the chart, the volatility will ALWAYS stay within this range.
if a plot exceeds 100% it should be marked as volatility reset - not an expansion
and should also be noted that the volatility spikes are also very inconsistent in volume and vary greatly.
The candle lookbacks on standard are organized be from 10 candles to 100 candles. I found the best results using the 50 candles lookback, and therefore have set it as the default value. These different values can be used to pull the information from the # of candles on the selected option - and therefore the volatility will be calculated from the number of candles selected.
// note for other people versed in pinescript
While this indicator may be useful in trading or strategies, it is more meant to incorporated into other scripts or used as a basis that can be further expanded on. The visuals are not built at all - for that purpose.
This script has not been listed as a library for the fact that it can be used as an actual indicator within a strategy - hope you enjoy.
Percent Change of Day [ilovealgotrading]
OVERVIEW:
This indicator aims to effectively show us the percentage change of the price within the time frame we have chosen.
What is the purpose of this indicator?
This indicator shows how the price changes for each bar at different time frames we have chosen. By examining the percentage change in different time periods, we can easily look at the change in the face of the market during the time interval. Also if the price is above or below the value of 0 during the specified time, the color of our percentage line changes.
IMPLEMENTATION DETAILS:
First of all, let's understand How to Calculate Percent Change?
The difference between the old and new value of a quantity given in percentages is known as a percent change. It's rather simple to calculate the % difference between two given quantities.
The formula is given by;
Example
The price of a kilo of rice went from 10$ to12.5$, what is the percentage change?
Explanation
• The old value of sugar = $ 10
• New value = $12.5
• Now apply the percent change formula;
• Percentage change = ×100%
= x 100%
= (2.5/10) x 100%
= 25%
In this case, the percent change is positive and therefore, it is an increase.
How Is Percentage Change Used in Finance?
In the world of finance, percentage change is frequently used to analyze changes in the value of stocks or major market indexes over time.
Percentage change is used for many purposes in finance, most notably to track the price change of stocks market and crypto market.
What can we change from the settings panel ?
We can set time frame setting of the percentage change from place number 1
We are able to adjust the changing color if the percentage change is above or below zero from place 2 and 3

distance_ratioLibrary "distance_ratio"
Collection of types and functions that can be used for the calculation of the ratio of a distance
from a barrier price using several methods. Methods supported are percentagewise (PERC), atr-based (ATR), fixed
profit (PROF), tick-based (TICKS), risk reward ratio (RR) and local extrema (LOC).
This library is meant to replace my previously published "distance_percentile" library since it offers a more intuitive interface by using the method syntax.
Price & Percentage Change LabelFairly straightforward script that allows you to plot the current price and % either above the last candle and/or to the right of it. There's also 2 price "follow" lines that you can turn off and on, much like the bid/ask line that's built in to TV.
You can also choose to enable a specific % above/below current price to give you an idea on where price would be with a move north or south by X % amount from current price.
TheATR™: Volatility Extremes (VolEx)Volatility is a crucial aspect of financial markets that is closely monitored by traders and investors alike. The traditional Average True Range (ATR) oscillator is a widely used technical indicator for measuring volatility in financial markets. However, there are limitations to the ATR oscillator, as it does not account for changing market conditions and may not adequately reflect extreme price movements. To address these limitations, TheATR has developed the VolEx indicator, which aims to identify extremes in the ATR oscillator by building dynamic thresholds using either a 'percentage' or 'standard deviation' based comparison with the value of the ATR.
The VolEx indicator utilizes a dynamic approach to measure volatility by considering the current level of the ATR oscillator relative to the dynamically generated thresholds. The dynamic thresholds are calculated based on the current ATR value and the chosen method of comparison (either 'percentage' or 'standard deviation'). If the ATR value exceeds the upper dynamic threshold, the market is experiencing high volatility, while a value below the lower dynamic threshold indicates low volatility.
The VolEx indicator offers several advantages over traditional volatility indicators, such as the ATR oscillator. First, it takes into account the changing market conditions and adjusts the thresholds accordingly. Second, it offers flexibility in the choice of the comparison method, allowing traders to tailor the indicator to their specific trading strategies. Finally, it provides clear signals for identifying extremes in volatility, which can be used to inform trading decisions.
In summary, the VolEx indicator developed by TheATR is a dynamic and flexible technical indicator that offers a robust approach to measuring volatility in financial markets. By utilizing dynamic thresholds and allowing for different comparison methods, the VolEx indicator provides a valuable tool for traders and investors seeking to identify extremes in market volatility..
NOTE: It is important to note that volatility, as measured by the VolEx indicator, does not provide any directional bias for the market movement. Rather, it simply indicates the degree to which the market is moving, regardless of direction. Traders and investors must use other technical or fundamental analysis tools to determine the direction of the market and make informed trading decisions based on their individual strategies and risk tolerance.
BTC Pair Change %This script makes it easier to quickly check how the BTC pair of the current symbol is performing on any pair.
It adds a " change percentage widge t" (of the BTC pair ) to the top right of the chart.
(Refer to the image for an example.)
The change percentage calculation is performed as described here:
www.tradingview.com
To match the "Chg%" that appears on TradingView watchlists, a 24H (1440min) timeframe is used, as described here:
money.stackexchange.com
In short, this script:
Searches for the BTC pair of the current symbol
Calculates the change % using the above described logic (links)
Adds a " change percentage widget " (of the BTC pair) to the top right of the chart
Allows for using 24H timeframe or the current timeframe (enable " Use current timeframe " under the script options)
Probabilities Module - The Quant Science This module can be integrate in your code strategy or indicator and will help you to calculate the percentage probability on specific event inside your strategy. The main goal is improve and simplify the workflow if you are trying to build a quantitative strategy or indicator based on statistics or reinforcement model.
Logic
The script made a simulation inside your code based on a single event. For single event mean a trading logic composed by three different objects: entry, take profit, stop loss.
The script scrape in the past through a look back function and return the positive percentage probability about the positive event inside the data sample. In this way you are able to understand and calculate how many time (in percentage term) the conditions inside the single event are positive, helping to create your statistical edge.
You can adjust the look back period in you user interface.
How can set up the module for your use case
At the top of the script you can find:
1. entry_condition : replace the default condition with your specific entry condition.
2. TPcondition_exit : replace the default condition with your specific take profit condition.
3. SLcondition_exit : replace the default condition with your specific stop loss condition.
Quantum Vector AlertsIts the part 2 of Multiple Indicators 50EMA Cross Alerts.
Its more suitable for the seconds chart. Beside, you can use it in higher timeframe.
The input bars length is the sample size that the code will use to trigger all alert. 20 mean 20 bar after the current candle.
When you activate volume alert you can select an amount of volume that when volume cross it you will be notified. The volume of every bar is displayed in the screener below volume.
In the section percentage vector counting the script do the sum of the red vector and green vector and give a ratio. In bullish vector count percentage for alert, you can select the percentage difference that you want to receive an alert. If your sample have 3 red vectors and 7 green vectors you will receive an alert saying that there is an imbalance of 70% showing more green vectors.
You can select a variant of percentage vector. The variant will do a summation of volume. If 1 vector candle is the size of the 3 other vector, they will have the same ponderation.
Normal alert counting count the number of vectors in the bars length. You can count the red and green candle only or add the blue and violet.
Bullish vector count will show a notification when the number of green candle will appear on the chart in the selected length. The same process is valid for bearish vector count. For example, if you want 3 bullish candle in 20 bar. You select bars length 20 and bullish vector count 3.
These alerts are suitable to the hybrid system. Thanks to our teacher Trader Reality and to all the member that contribute to this great discord community.
KillstatsBacktest and identify at what times/days the high/low were formed. The periods are shown on the graph along with detailed statistics.
Exemple with "days : 600" and "13h : top 12%" : we understand that over 600 days, in 12% of the cases we have formed the top of the day at 13h.
up to 1000+ days studied to find favorable reversal time slots: killstats! The data presented can sometimes be... surprising.
Increasing/decreasing the timeframe on chart = increase/decrease the studied period.
A period of 1000 days ( UT : h1) allows to have solid but not exact statistics.
A period of 30 days allows to have current statistics but too little sample to know if the data is relevant.
I recommend looking for intersections of killstats over several periods: If over 1000 days AND 30 days, 3pm was a time with a high probability of forming a top, it is interesting to look for short positions between 3pm and 4pm.
The data is displayed in the form of a diagram whose visual allows to identify effective time slots.
Caution. Timeframe: h1 maximum for the study of the day's high/low to be correct - and daily maximum for the study of the week's high/low.
Caution2. Match the timezone with the input (by default set to GMT+1). So if you are at GMT+2, you must put "2" in timezone.
I recommend using this as part of an aggressive high frequency scalping strategy to make the most of your trading session - with the aim of quickly moving to TP1/BE and leaving your winning position open.
