Ramco Industries Ltd. is a holding company, which engages in the manufacture and sale of building materials. It operates through the following segments: Building Products, Textile, and Wind Power Generation. The Building Products segment includes the sale of fiber cement sheets, boards, and pressure pipes. The Textile segment is involved in cotton yarn production. The Wind Power Generation segment refers to the sale and surplus of electricity generated from wind farm operations. The company was founded by P. R. Ramasubrahmaneya Rajha on January 27, 1965 and is headquartered in Chennai, India.
