After hearing that Amazon broke record prices for it's stock, I decided to take a look at it's history to try and find out why. A phenomenon that is repeatedly seen in Wyckoff is confluencing Point And Figure targets that give reliability to stepping stone ranges' TP projections. As you can see here, 2 accumulation ranges have similiar TP projections which gives...
Full Wyckoff Analysis: Distribution Range Analysis: Phase A: We left the previous accumulation range that can be seen on the left around mid-April. Markup coincided with the announcement of a UK general election coming up on June 8th. The Point And Figure (P&F) TP projection for this range is marked at the top of this chart in the blue box. It's centre point...
This is a point and figure chart. It's used in Wyckoff logic to calculate TP projections based on accumulation/distribution range sizes/areas. The box size/settings are given reliability in a certain market based on how accurate previous calculations have been. As you can see, the accumulation range on the left gave a TP box (centre marked with green line) which...
Wyckoff Analysis: Accumulation range from 2011 seen in the S&P 500 Index (left chart) gave an upside target using P&F calculations of +780 points (HL, 10 box size, 2 box reversal). This target has been drawn onto the same left hand side chart and it lead to typical post-markup behaviour: exit of the markup channel, subsequent retest of it and a new consolidation...
Full Wyckoff Analysis will be posted soon. Currently unable to provide the usual analysis. Will do so later today (GMT).
Wyckoff Analysis: Phase A: Large change of character to the downside with large bearish candle + volume increase suggests new consolidation range forming. Automatic rally + secondary test confirm new range formation, stopping of current trend at least for the time being and end of Phase A. Phase B: Relatively smaller movements on reduced volume. Then, large move...
Wyckoff Analysis: Large range with phases labelled. Local and undeniable volume spike seen on huge spring down with testing visible. This confirms that we are in accumulation which confluences with the latest OPEC fundamentals that will drive price up. Phase A: Rise in volume with price action suggests that we are entering a non-trending environment while we...
Wyckoff TP Analysis: Wyckoff analysis to calculate TP/target out of a range involves using a 'point and figure' chart. Reliability of these calculations are based on past accuracy when used in the current market - backtesting, if you will. The market currently appears to be in a markdown as has been illustrated with the downward channel that price currently sits...
Wyckoff TP Analysis: This is a similiar educational publication to the previous one posted of USD/CAD (linked underneath) but with actual point and figure charts for you to see. Wyckoff analysis to calculate TP/target out of a range involves using a 'point and figure' chart. Reliability of these calculations are based on past accuracy when used in the current...
Wyckoff Analysis: Previous downtrend has stopped and consolidation has been entered into. Volume has spiked as price tried to break through the support line - spring. Accumulation confirmed and tested. The entry is actually on the diagonal line that marks the top of the range but the chart can only have a horizontal entry line. TP based on P&F (close, 0.5, 3) =...
See chart linked below for entry + analysis. TP has now been calculated and set. I expect change of character + associated volume change + exit/retest of markup channel + new consolidation range in this TP area.
Please see linked chart for full Wyckoff Analysis that was done live before trade was opened and as market unfolded, entry taken, TP projected etc. This is a typical example of how I generate my trades.
Speculation regarding the cause of today's flash crash in GBP. Zooming in on M1 shows the incredibly sudden drop on the exact peak of the range as shown.

Wyckoff Anallysis. Left hand side of chart shows previous distribution range that we have been marking down from. Chart is self explanatory. Forgot to add that there is a localised volume spike at the change of character giving a further confluence of something different now happening, ie, new consolidation range forming.
Chart is self-explanatory with full Wyckoff analysis . TP could not be calculated with point and figure chart due to technical trouble on Trading View site. A crude method of 3 x trading range added to top of range was used. This was then reduced slightly to be on the safe side. Usually, the TP is dynamic. As long as price stays in the markup channel as has...
