NEM Rising channel, heading to 2 week highNEM Rising channel, heading to 2 week high of $68.88. Newmont is the world largest gold producer and ready to hit 52 week highs. The gold miners have lagged GC futures and GLD etf. Barrick gold is the 2nd largest producer and has a perfect ascending triangle. With FOMC july 30th, I expect these to breakout before and I would take some profits before known event. Still working on my videos, haha. thanks for watching! GL!
GBPUSD two possible scenariosGBPUSD two possible scenarios
on Daily: GBPUSD is currently trading around resistance so we will be looking for objective sell setups on lower timeframes.
on H4: we have an ascending triangle forming and divergence on MACD, however, price is still overall bullish and we will be looking for an objective break below our lower blue trendline to sell.
Unless price breaks above our upper blue trendline and resistance then we will be looking for objective buy setups on its retest.
CLEAR ascending support on JPM - and we are lazy at it right nowAscending support on JPM - some will also identify the pivot highs calling for a triangle pattern.
Keep an eye on this support level if the market gets weaker - looking for things that were already lazy when the market was strong... looking for those to then get even weaker when the market gets weak... this is a good way to find intraday setups!
Hope this chart perspective helps the community

Don’t be tricked by the apparent double top formation before…Quick Technical Analyses trading pair USDMXN
First Point theres a Hidden Divergence between price and the RSI (Green Lines)
This is a Bullish Trend
Second, ascending wedge is forming, another bullish pattern.
Only Bearish pattern is the the double tops, which was my first thought going into the trade. My price target for next week is 24.5 pesos if the bullish trends continues. Personally I was hoping for a double top but i'm not so sure anymore.
Analyzing my amazon scalp from april 6 and testing videoSorry, this is my 1st video...haha. I work FT, so I have mainly been scalping the past 2 months.
April 6th, markets gapped up 4-5% at open, price was above VWAP in entries. I waited for premiums to go down and usual sell off in 1st hour. I use 15 and 30 min timeframes for scalping. I entered the weekly 2050 call at 10:50 for 10%, then bought and sold my 2nd call an hour later for 20%. Chart pattern I saw was a ascending triangle on 30 min TF.

ANAB - "ANAB-tomy" Of A Winning Long Trade?Sorry for the stuffy nose! Nonetheless, here I talk about qualities of a trade that help determine it as a winner. This is just a short version of what to look for, just to give some of the things to consider in the process. As a general statement, there are 2 things that make up a stock: technical factors (price behavior) & fundamental factors (financial statement info).
Fundamentals are important for longterm investments where company growth & strength are important, since over time, more people will get interested and buy the stock in the future for further price appreciation (5-10+ years for a solid investment). Simple fundamentals just looks at company profits and how much cash the company has access to, but for a detailed fundamental analysis, the company will need to be known and understood on a very high level as if the investor is one of he founders of the company. Before the investment is made, you must know almost everything about how goods/services reach the consumer/customer. For a trader, correct technical analysis is most important (everyone can do technical analysis, but it takes time to do it in a more realistic fashion without dreaming too much or trying too hard to predict a specific future price action). The more factors that favor your objective to buy the stock, whether as a trade or investment, the more likely you will win from the trade. Here is the list from the video:
1. Technical favor
-Price accumulation: price usually builds up slowly before exploding upward in an uptrend, with only few/small price corrections in the trend (it is hard to see this early but it is typically only obvious late AFTER the trend has started)
-Volatility contraction-expansion: I talk about this all the time I'll skip it; it is very important to always look for though
-Price eagerness to increase: when price keeps trying to push upward to newer levels, this tells that at least there are also other people who see the stock going higher and are willing to put their money on the line for it
-Supportive base: the price action should show you that the price has no interest in testing lower levels, which means there are no aggressive sellers, investors or other traders are not selling off and there is a positive sentiment toward the stock
-Industry/Sector performance: this was not included in the video, but it usually gives you a great technical context especially when you are diversifying or trying to pick a home run stock (it's still very difficult to pick one though)
2. Fundamental favor (if considering longterm investing)
-EPS growth past 3-5yrs (should mirror revenue/net income): this tells you the company's plan to grow/expand and make profit in the process is working, and hence the company is still appealing to old and newer investors
-Free cash flow: I didn't explain this well in the video, but I meant to say that a good cash flow means the company has cash on hand aside from other assets to be able to pay off any debt or sudden expenses today if the need arises (this is a very simplified version just to give you an idea)
Let's see what ANAB can do! Looking forward to comments or PM discussions.
Gold / XAUUSD / GC - Ascending triangle breakout imminent I made an about face on my bias of gold yesterday where I flipped from bearish to bullish. This doesn't mean I am indecisive or have multiple personalities, rather it was due to watching what price was telling me. Don't ever be afraid to change your opinion of a setup on a dime. Price action and the "price story" is always changing, and thus our bias' of that instrument could change as well.
The setup we are looking at is a bullish ascending triangle reversal pattern. I entered long yesterday evening (perhaps a little prematurely) but price has continued to show buying strength on each test of the lower portion of the ascending triangle which is what we want to see. Given how price aggressively recovered above the #1 ascending triangle, I think a bullish breakout is likely. Remember folks, likely doesn't = 100%. Never bet the farm! To trade we need capital, so capital preservation needs to be a top priority. We preserve our capital by not over risking on individual trades.
If you are in this trade or eventually enter on a future buy signal, the nearest term resistance is in the 1355-1360 range. I will personally be dynamically managing my trades and may get out before that level is reached or stay in after price breaks through(assuming this is how it plays out!), but that level is a nice, common sense level for those of you who are more mechanical.
